rclxms.gif , right decision made. It's the similar decision i had to make for Harry Potter.
I had planned to get the 1-6 boxset, but when the 7th installment was announced , i decided to get the ultimate collection set.

Disney, and whichever other distribution company will milk this for all they can. So expect a pentology collection and a hextology collection sometime soon (might even be called complete collection).

Waiting for the ultimate collection as well for HP. As long as it's shelf worthy and doesn't take up too much space.

Nice one bud. Looks good. I'm hoping it'll be in a smaller package perhaps smile.gif

Hopefully, it won't just be all 8 UEs slapped together. Probably a better designed package, with those documentaries on the movie. I'm hoping for perhaps some extended version, etc. Heard there's a ton of stuff that was never included in the UEs (Just 1&2) even because the directors felt the theatrical editions were solid enough.

Sometimes I made order to take advantage of certain price drop of certain titles that I wanted and as well as to avoid taxation - try not to over RM500.

I try to merge some of this because, it might save me up to USD10 on shipments fees but I also have to balance it out on the taxation because some will have more than RM500. Example I order 2x Star Wars - that alone will be more than RM500.

Thanks so much for your suggestion - I think it is best to leave it for the time being
*
There are ways to get over the RM500 limit if ordering from amazon via courier but it's a little different with normal shipping as it can be pulled by customs for audit no matter how low the amount (I've had $20 valued parcels held for taxation).

Just give me all 3 movies released separately like Aliens, etc and I'm a happy man.

Andrew, if those slipcovers touch each other on the way in/out. It'll scratch bad. So be careful.

I prefer my movies in 2.35:1 or 2.40:1, even animation.

Example animation from Pixar framed in 1.85:1

Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, Monsters, Inc., Finding Nemo, and Up

Example animation from Pixar framed in 2:35:1

A Bug's Life, The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, and WALL-E

All in all, give me 2.35:1 or 2.40:1 any day.

It's an excellent movie yes. Always been one of my favourites. It's achieved cult status since release.

Snow White has already been released in the Diamond Edition. So it won't be released again until they come up with a new series.

Sleeping Beauty is in the list for a Diamond Edition release, the previous one was as a Platinum Edition.

Disney will re-release all the Platinum Edition titles except Aladdin under the Diamond Edition, and it should be done by 2016.

Lady And The Tramp is the next title to be released under the Diamond Edition in 2012.

Bro Andrew & Refnulf

Can you recommend which Disneynature is the best, planning to get one. I enjoyed Planet Earth & Life
*
Oceans is the best disneynature so far smile.gif

All the documentaries in my collection are good.

Btw, latest POTC blu-ray rip is out. Good for those wanting to sample before buying the blu-ray.

For the record, it's perfectly feasible to get a blu-ray a week OR two before the actual street date. Sometimes even three and that's for us as well.
Prices will be slightly higher, but that depends on the amount you bring in, or the prices you get from the dealers, etc. There is a HK dealer I know that sells up to 4 weeks before but his prices are too high.

If you're going by Amazon, etc. Then you'll get it 3-4 days (at the earliest with priority shipping)

Btw Andrew, Paul is an excellent movie. Watched it 22+ times now.

Alot here says anything above RM500 is taxable. Some do get pass it without issue.
All i can say , if you are lucky enough you wouldn't be taxed even below or above RM500.
*
Also depends on the type of shipping.

Star Wars rips are out, gonna see if they're worth the buy!
