today a guy looked at my car and said "this is proton ah? Is it 2.0 ah?" (now you know that there are many people out there still dunno much about Inspira) and he asked how much is it, he estimated its over RM100k, I said to him only RM91k la...straight can see his face looked surprised at that figure because he drives a city...

hmm >< your car autolocks ??? Mine don't >< mine havent to always manually open the locks. Between  Matrix I've heard alot rumors of your reputation in dare devil driving. I wanna ask you something ... have you encounter a problem like when u drive fast and turn into alley or another road do you feel the suspension have a loud click sound??

Actually I own a plum red Inspira 2.0 since end December 2010 (1st batch?)
Actually booked the car without seeing the car(before launch)
As with 1st batch, the ngek sound from absorbers in the morning. Still no solution yet from Proton.
Other than that I am pretty satisfied with the car from the power , handling and FC (much better than the persona)
A real bargain and with the present discount even better.

Read the forum from V1, just plain lazy to post. I am real unker type, never past the 120k/h mark ( will never be able to test the power of the MIVEC.) Not poisoned with mods except the headlamp switch.

Quite seriously I don't understand your thinking here. When people complain about the Inspira problem you have to drag in other car makes  just to protect your precious Inspira. Fact is fact that your car make noise but what does it have to do with Kia?

Welcome! Another to join the White Inspira clan. Now we can go fight with the Red/Black Inspiras (Silver not many, can ignore them, including XCInspire). hehe.

Really? So how do we know that Proton assembled correct engine? They might put 2.0 engine in 1.8 Inspira, and vice versa.

Excuse me, but I have to be BLUNT again....

What makes you THINK you can handle the clutch, gear stick, AND handle the power of the car if you have never driven manual car before?? How long have you had your drivers license??

And why the sudden desire to drive manual?? If you are simply listening to others online that manual is way powerful than CVT, its way far from the real truth... paddle shifting (or push/pull gear stick for 1.8CVT) is more efficient to keep the car in its most powerful MIVEC zone (above 4500RPM) and is way faster than you can possible manually shift gears (lift off accelarator, press clutch, change gear with left hand, lift off clutch and press accelerator again... in case you forgot this when you got your license)...

Also, what car are you driving now that makes you even consider manual...?? A 1.8CVT is more powerful than 1.5 engine.... even a kancil can beat you at traffic lights lift off if you are way inefficient in playing the stick....

Get a 2.0 if you can afford, or consider and 1.8.... or get the MT if you wanna learn slowly and humbly.... dont think of performance for a long time if you do get the MT...

Then what about the MIDDLE leg, that one play with what while you drive???

I really doubt he have done anything there, or he is mesmerized by the receptionist there.... i donno...   

The smaller SC not owned by Proton is much better, as you can be near your car when they work on it, so you can see the work done...   

Did my 10K service in Taman Mayang Jaya, Senaxis Sdn Bhd.... quite a few ppl did theirs there, and speedy too if you are early... oh, and you can trade in your voucher Syntium 800 to fully syn Syntium 3000 by topping up RM142...   

Isn't 50 a bit thick??? FC will suffer i think.

Anyway, drove my Inspira to Putrajaya just now to witness the Malaysia Flora 2011...well worth the jam.

aah i remember those younger days where putra vs SGti days where sgti was lotus tuned and was claimed to have the best handling car tht time. and of course putra suxx in this area (a few putras does turtled when whacking corners. well i wont say i am damn good in whacking corners but i love whacking corners  100 -120deg turn maxxed out and some of us frm foothill of genting to top in less than 15 mins/12mins
young & dangerous and fast & very furios drivin last time. now think bout it also scared liou. thank God in 1 piece . well nothin to be proud of but wont do it like tht again.

sometimes not necessary car features plays all the important roles i,ts the drivers also
learned the proper techniques then u can bring the potential out of the car. my fren(track racer) taught me how to take 90-100 deg turn at 100km/h in my car(11 yrs ago)
