Also, it would be useful if a USB port is in the unit instead of having to use the cigarette lighter port to stick in the USB drive.
Say what...???? Have this feature meh...???? Anyone tried this trick...???????? flex.gif flex.gif

Lancer 2.0 GT has harder suspensions and stock front strut bar which most likely to see lancer has better grip.
It have lesser grip than our standard setup, LGT is famous for losing grip and "buang" its tail (tail-happy) when taking high speed corners.... this is due to the harder and stiffer suspension setup and the 18in rims, which "lifts" one wheel a bit during high speed corners and thus making it losing grip.... but this also makes the car more stable and less body roll...

Inspira suspension setup is softer and thus you experience more body roll and dips from the car, but with the softer CC5 tyres, Inspira actually rides softer and more grippier than LGT...

So its body flex and roll that you are experiencing as Inspira have better road grip....

But in other words, your car with struts and rubber now could be more tail-happy than stock standard... so be more careful when pushing the car...

FACT: I have never "buang" my tail before the rubbers, but threw it a few times after install...!!! shocking.gif shocking.gif

Yeah... adding it will please those that demands performance from their Inspira, as it takes corners and weaves much better than stock....

Masuk workshop or SC to tukar parts is ok, at least they can rectify it...

My car less than 24 hours dah masuk SC, claim paintwork on "duck lip spolier".... now need to go and claim warranty of whole duck lip spoiler, the paint bubbles appear again.... cry.gif cry.gif

last time u psycho me to get the xp and the philips led...now your turn...biggrin.gif

go get the knn filter man.....you wont regret it.....the sound to me, not louder, it just sounds nicer!!

for the power gain, honestly, not much...but, there is a slight diff in pickup la...not like we have dyno to test...we only use butt dyno tongue.gif

if u ask me, will i buy it for my next car, yes i will.......
*
Very informative personal review.... rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

Increase sound, yes, but more powerful roar, lovely music to some ppl...

Power gain, slightly at pickup and low rpm.... u will get used to it after a while and then u wont feel it... the increase prolly wont even show up in proper dyno....

Its a relatively cheap mod for slight preformance gain... and helps saves the earth by reducing paper filter usage....

aww... where is the 3 holes located? if added the spoiler, the spoiler cant cover up the holes? thats 1 of the thing i dont like about 2.0 is they come with bodykit and the ducklip.... =.=
*
Its under the duck lip, used to secure the lip to the boot, located at the sides and the middle.... adding a spoiler dont cover up the holes...

The 2.0 bodykit is good.... as it has front, side and back... if u get 1.8, u only have LGT sideskirts to add on... costs arnd 700 (no paint yet)... or u can get those whole set FRP from Airmaster (front, side and back diffuser) from 1500++....

So, the bodykit included is fine... its just the 3 holes under the duck lip in the boot...

Did not wear seat belts? Which is very common in Malaysia. Potholes or sharp object punctured the tire or tire hit divider? alot of reason to cause accident. Very hard to explain == just dun drive fast.
*
She didnt wear seatbelts.... and car hit the highway metal bars at an angle at high speed... so she kinda bounced from the windscreen + airbag and out the side windows.... she was found in the steep ravine about 10 meters away....

God rest her soul...

So lesson here is you will need to fasten the seatbelts.... u will think the window is too small but a body still can fly out...

Apart from chasis number, how do we detect if the steering hose is faulty ? My chasis no. is 62xx.

Yea...please put on ur seat belts when in the car...all passengers should do so. Nuthin cool abt not wearing seat belts...only morons do that
*
Actually no one except inside Proton can tell exactly which chassis numbers have the steering hose defect, so its better you call Proton I-Care number to check... they shld have the latest and up to date info, as compared to anyone in this thread... no??

Even proton cant determine that, what would you think we can? They mentioned that they have 60 faulty hoses, and yet they decided to send mass recalls to all batches from 1xxx to 4xxx. I just hope they did some internal check, so that the units that are not shipped have this fixed...

Anyway, what will be impact of this problem?
*
I doubt its a mass recall from 1XXX to 4XXX, if its such huge numbers, you will know....

But so what happen to all the QC and tracking of parts as required by ISO??? A simple check on incoming batch number from X supplier, and tracked to the car chassis where its installed... all these are requirements of ISO certification, and also the reason why manufactured parts have batch numbers from the originator factory....

As for the hoses itself, the flex of the rubber hose is out of tolerance, means it expands too much (aka inferior quality parts from factory that wanted to cut cost???) when the hoses are stressed. So when you turn the steering and the power steering fluid gets too pressured in it, the hose can expand and causes the fluid to lose pressure...

IT MAY cause the steering to LOSE CONTROL.... the driver will feel no response when the steering is turned and the car wont turn...

Drive by wire is supposedly be more accurate as compared to hydraulics due to the potential hose issues... and it does offer more precise pedal to throttle body opening... however, all systems breaks down over time, and a theoretical "run-away car" can happen... so regular check and maintenance of the drive by wire is required too...

BUT, and this is a big BUT, drive by wire pedals feels like you are driving an arcade toy car (like those Initial D cabinet)... you wont have any throttle feedback, and you may over compensate (press deeper and harder) and speed faster.... and this is exactly the main complaint of the CVT gearbox...

Thus, drive by wire + CVT, a really bad combo, IMO....

oh so in the end you end have to fight the steering? Hmmmm.... in this sense, is electronic power steering better than hydraulic? even though drive-by-wire is good, but i never really trust it 100%.
*
The biggest problem with FULLY electronic power steering is the lack of road response... again, this feels like those Initial D arcade steerings, you just dont get enuff feedback even if your front wheels have "floated" and is slipping across the tarmac...

Most performance driven drivers (pun intended) hates EPS....

To me I would prefer a mechanical system. Sometimes us driver we use the "texture" of the road to control our throttle... I guess at the end of the day its all a matter of getting used to the car

Poadster: U play IDAS? I only found out that my place got IDAA6 Cabs with online play!

Where is that place?? So far 1U and MV dont have online play, only local play....

Stopped playing IDAA oredi, also quit Wangan Midnight too.... too expensive to play in arcades... cry.gif cry.gif

Those will be OEM Taiwan made bumpers... price includes painting???

Quite a few of the old-timers have changed the front and backs.... we mainly got them from the traded-in bumpers frm 2008 and 2009 LGTs....
