QUOTE(kadajawi @ Dec 12 2012, 09:49 PM) Yes, and the rear doors shut pathetically too in the small Lexus... like a Myvi. Ok if it's a cheap Myvi, not ok if it's an expensive Lexus. But still, it's not that bad. Though I'd expect more from Lexus. In Camry, no "bonggol" in the middle. A kid can sleep on the floor then .A Ranger... not exactly the most refined car in the world, is it? Not sure if it qualifies as an alternative to a D segment car, more of a workhorse that will go anywhere. Maybe in the Camry they leave out crumple zones etc.? If you want the ultimate in space, there is only one choice in this price range: Skoda Superb. Also it is only slightly behind a Merc E class in terms of refinement and ride quality. http://www.dailycarsnews.com/newsgallery-s...7356-pic25.html ![]() Btw. why exit from the boot? Alphard got sliding doors, right? There is no better type of doors for tight parking. |

I never ask my kid to sleep on the floor. But,my youngest one like to do that ever since I use a MPV.
Btw, this statement shows how spacious the camry is. There is a small door if I fold the middle sit as an access to the trunk. Grand livina is not a car. If I want a MPV it's better for me to keep my ex Naza Ria. This post has been edited by kepalapening: Dec 13 2012, 01:23 PM |

QUOTE(Hertz96 @ Jan 20 2013, 12:04 PM) Hey! I have a new Toyota Camry 2.5V. It's been giving me abit of a headache, every morning when I start the car and let it warm up forawhile, I release the handbrake and put it in reverse and start backing out of my porch and it doesn't give me any power at all. I have to put my foot down and I still only get abit of power but its revving so high and it sounds as though the car is struggling to move. My 1.3EZi Perodua Myvi and 1.6 Proton Wira is smooth out of the porch and doesn't give me any problems. I've brought it to the Toyota Service Centre and they said there was a problem with my handbrake sensor so I insisted for a replacement. They replaced for free and after 3 miserable hours later I was out of the Service Centre and the car was okay. But after a few days, I started it in the morning, released the handbrake and reversed and the problem started again. It has been like that since. Anyone else has this problem or know how to solve it? Please advice. Thx! My 2.5V don't give me this kind of problem.I sometimes don't even warm up the engine early in the morning (Subuh), and rev the engine high, because I'm late for Fajar prayer at the mosque. |

After using my Camry 2.5V for a year.
1. I impressed many people for the tremendous huge space. 2. Since this is my first D segment car, I cannot comment much regarding comfortness. But,, I can say that it is nice to sit in it as compared to a C200. 3. It is not a powerful car. Even a 2.0 Civic can produced more power than it. However, it still allows me to show off on top of Titiwangsa. |
