QUOTE(Chong1980 @ May 5 2013, 04:30 PM) Went to solstice showroom last week, totally disappointed with their layout, design and structure with the 2+1 duplex. I have signed the LO but have not sign the S&P yet, still in time to withraw from this? Can get my 5K deposit back? Need advices here. I second that. The layout and ID for duplex is really not up to standard. Stupid me I was actually lost for a while. I was like... "I thought duplex is a 2 room unit. Where's the other room?" QUOTE(xyyap @ Sep 24 2014, 02:21 PM) QUOTE(Nobita_lam @ Sep 25 2014, 11:08 AM) I have work in Weekend, is it possible we create a FB group first to gain the power? Count me in too! I'm shocked to hear this latest development. This smells of misrepresentation. I bought into Pangaea because their master plan distinguishes them from the others. Count me in.

Can someone please correct me if I'm wrong. At the time of Solstice launching surrounding condo residential projects in Cyberjaya was selling like RM450 to RM500 p/sf. OSK was selling Solstice at approx RM600 p/sf. Still, I didn't mind the premium as Pangaea's original masterplan differentiated itself from others.
Now that the masterplan has been changed I don't think they deserve the premium pricing.
While it currently affects OSK buyers, the same may also affect buyers of other projects if we don't do something about it now. Developers cannot have the absolute right in amending the masterplan halfway through the project as they think or see fit as it has a direct impact in influencing buyers decision and more so when it comes to property pricing. The whole thing becomes very misleading.

QUOTE(hornbillim @ Oct 7 2014, 04:33 PM) for Pangaea. we r not buy one unit property. we buy one concept ! Exactly! We can buy property from any developer we want but we choose to buy in Pangaea in the first place because of the concept. This post has been edited by speed7791: Oct 7 2014, 08:59 PM

QUOTE(den @ Oct 6 2014, 03:16 PM) http://www.pangaea.com.my/masterplan.phpLooks like they are doing something to this page :/ Probably putting Kepler in. I'm actually hopeful that they're taking down the masterplan page until this issue is resolved so as not to cause further confusion. We'll hope for the best n plan for the worst.

QUOTE(propertyMontKiara @ Oct 8 2014, 06:24 PM) I always think Skypark is a better investment from the start. Both have its uniqueness but Skypark has better reputation n location wise, it s better. Pangea location is too packed with all other development I like Skypark very much too but I'm wary of the maintenance fees. Guess who will be paying for all the elaborate facilities? Anyway, I guess it comes come to personal preference. I personally do not think that I'll use the facilities a lot if I stay there. Even more so if I were to buy it for investment. I'm not implying that one project is better than the other. Each has its own uniqueness but sadly that uniqueness is being taken away at Pangaea.

QUOTE(mascot_lim @ Oct 9 2014, 10:00 AM) Indeed, in terms of legislation perspective, we cannot do much for their change in master plan, however, if we are able to bring this issue ahead of the public awareness, let every of their future prospects know how OSKP do their works, and how they "value" their existing customers, theres gone their reputation....... Without reputable brand image, let see how they want to sell all their upcoming project in the future, since no matter how, all existing home buyers have been at the expense for their OSKP greed in mountain higher profit maximization. I won't put it that way. It doesn't mean that just because they have a disclaimer in their brochure the buyers have no other recourse. It doesn't mean that the buyers cannot challenge them. The "burden of proof" will be on us if we decide to challenge them i.e. in what way, or how the buyers have been mislead

QUOTE(ibbrio @ Oct 9 2014, 12:03 PM) what about street protest? invite tv3 invite all the major press shout we want justice we want justice return our money revert to master plan futuristic shopping mall! We hope that it won't end up that way but I have doubts if the developer will really take purchasers voice into account. I sent them an email last week and until today, close to a week, no acknowledgement or reply. Even certain govt's agencies will at least send an acknowledgement or reply within 3 days. This is basic customer service as far as I'm concerned.
