Wondering if any of you have a solution to this.

Flying air asia tomorrow (first and probably last time - i normally fly cathay). No in seat entertainment, no power plug. My galaxy tab isn't going to last long enough to be usable as a phone at destination if i use it to watch movies/games on the plane.

Do you guys have an external power pack to recommend that supplies the 2A needed to charge the tab?

Ps. I hate phones with no removable batteries..

Sigh, not enough time for me to run out and search for one.

Looks like i will have to switch to a simpler solution...just bring a spare phone in case the tab craps out and a car charger.

I figure the tab should survive 3-4hrs of vid and angry birds with all the radios turned off and the screen brightness down.

Hai again.

I have some problem with my tab. My tab cannot download some apps from market.
It said dont have enough space...

My solution is to download the apps from 3rd party web site.

...

Now I'am playing the new empire defence 2. It still on beta.

My tab is rooted, so whenever I get this error, I just launch Root Explorer and delete whichever 'temp' apk was left in the /cache folder on the tab.

No.

To flash the stock 2.3.6, you need ODIN. Flash without any PIT and 'repartition' unchecked, and then do a data/factory wipe after the flashing is done in ODIN - you will need to do this as there will be loads of errors smile.gif

If you have a microSD card inside, try booting without it.

Did you 'wipe data / factory reset' in recovery mode? Plus, perhaps you should format your internal SD also.

Running the stock kernel for now.

hi guys...really need an advice about my tab weird symptom.. rclxub.gif
b4 dis im running on OC Hermes Edition..last week my tab always turn off suddenly whenever the batt reach 10%..when turn it on,at galaxy tab screen also will turn off forcely...i've been trying to wipe batt stats as OC tweaks & tips...but the probs become more worse..from 10%,it goes turn off at 20%,then 30% and keep on increasing..then after reaching 60%,new symptom came...my sgt cant charge..the batt shows like charging but after almost 6hours,the batt level is stil the same...at this time,my tab can only turn on only if plug in the charger..if not, when try to turn it on,it will turn off again and again..

n earlier dis week,i flash my tab and using firmware v2.3.6 mix with OC v4.0 kernel..everything seems fine at first...but then, yesterday the symptom above came back... cry.gif

what shud i do rite now??? or just hand my tab to service centre? hmm.gif

Looks like battery issues ; the galaxy Tab series well known for battery problems and do have it replaced within 6 months which is still under warranty
