There are Qosmios with dual cores already. Qosmio G35s but a more powerful Toshiba Gaming rig is Satellite P105 with Nvidia 7900.

Yes, it seems that the G30 which is destined for Malaysia will be very expensive. It's extremely heavy as well at 4.6kg!

Try and read this. Mobile Home Entertainment.

Next, they'll put a game console somewhere in it.

M8, yours is 1.66. The Tecras are 1.83 GHz.

Furthermore Satellite is geared towards the home user where as the Tecras are for the travelling business users (more robust).

Anyway, yours is a good choice for gaming etc. A well balanced lappie.

Turion 64 X2 is scheduled to come out May 9th (I think). Expect Duo Core prices to tumble.

Ekekeke.

Official Toshiba documentation, battery life for :-
M100-P345 is 2.0 hrs,
Tecra A6 is 3.2 hrs,
Tecra A7 is 3.5 hrs.

From my experience Toshibas are not really known for their battery life compared to the Lenovo/IBM. They seem to have relatively short battery life.

Huh, have you not heard of Portege R200 and M400 with 5 hour battery life just on 6-cell and Tecra M5 up to 7½ hours with 12 cell battery?

You should compare Thinkpads to equivalent business notebook. That is why Toshiba business notebooks are more expensive than Satellites.
