hey guys,
this is the latest price of all Centrino Duo...hopefully available in all stores right now. biggrin.gif

SATELLITE
A100-P545 = RM6,999
A100-P540 = RM4,999

M100-P345 = RM5,999
M100-P340 = RM4,999

TECRA
A6-P3401 = RM6,999
M5-P2301 = RM7,999

for more info - http://pc.toshiba-asia.com/

personally, i prefer Tecra A6 than others but it's just kinda pricey. sweat.gif tongue.gif
as for the high range M100 & A100 come with the harmon kardon speakers with SRS TruSurround Sound.
i wonder how great is the enhancement that been built-in to the speakers. laugh.gif

P/S: is there anyone going to get any that listed above? doh.gif

damnit, I am still getting the BSODs after a clean reformat.

How and why are the RAMs causing the BSODs?
Is this a known common problem in Toshiba notebook?

try to write down the error msg that u see. Eg: stop 0X15E , memory dump files etc.
u can do a search in Google with the exact error code or search in http://support.microsoft.com

it may be unsigned hardware issues such as USB devices etc

Good pratices for laptop newbies

a) buy an extra usb keyboard & cooler pad

b) when u're using the AC adpater , always remove the 100% charged battery from the back (this may increase the life span of the battery)

c) leave a thin cloth on the wrist rest area if u're using the keyboard
(metallic/plastic wrist rest area may get obvious stains/scratches)

anymore suggestions?

erm ... let say the recommended price is RM6999, what price i can get in lowyat? is it same RM6999 or cheaper?? smile.gif ..
*
well, not much difference
as in roadshow u might get more freebies if u request from the salesperson personally.

i think as for Toshiba lappies u can get futher about RM150 reduction for the T3 Security Suite which is included in the price tag. however, some ppl will find the suite useful as it includes an insurance for ur lappie
