I'm thinking to upgrade my ram from 1gb to 2gb. After upgrade, will it really improve the speed of my laptop? I'm using Vista OS. Nowadays the ram is very cheap, only RM125 for 1gb Kingston DDR2 KVR667 SODIMM! Thanks!

yup ... for vista i recommend 2gb ram too ...

I just realized that my laptop is using two 512mb ram, means no more slot to add in another ram! The only way is to replace both 512mb ram with single 2gb ram. The price for 2gb is damn expensive RM425 If I get two 1 gb is much cheaper, only RM250. Why the price for 2gb is so expensive? Will my laptop warranty be affected if I upgrade my ram? I means I buy and install myself?

2gb still new ma....wait a while b4 2gb price come down...may be this coming PC fair..
which model r u using now ? m200 easy only, my LATE m100 susah a bit....

go for 2pieces for 1gb lor...

actually getting 4gb ram on 32bit system also no use ... u can only fully utilise the 4gb ram on a 64bit operating system ...

but 64bit operating system not stable cos got lousy drivers and no software support ...

if u think rm425 is expensive for 2gb ram ... go and check out dell's price ...

to upgrade from 2gb to 4gb u need to add rm1000++

i also heard from my source today that the ram price will go up next weekend ... so if u want to upgrade ur ram ... better get it now cos its cheap ...

today at low yat i checked u can get 1gb ddr2 667mhz kingston ram for only rm 100 ...

Just bought 1gb kingston ram at pcdepot, cost me RM122. Now my system got 1526mb liao...Can feel a bit faster liao....Later when my sis in kl, I will ask her to get me another 1gb ram. Is much cheaper there, right?

i dont' think it worth the effort n cost for ur sis to travel in kl n buy tht ram stick for u just to save tht rm10-20 .....

My sister will going down to KL to meet her friend mer so I can ask her to buy lor.....wah rm98 nia...so cheap ar.....dunno in Penang can get that price or not...

actually you prefer not heavy better have a huge budget like 13k to get that 1 which is 899 grams only

the m200 - e415 is a very capable lappie ... but the only drawback is the intel shared graphics ...

i wouldnt run any heavy graphic demanding games on it ...

if u want to run games, might as well go for the a200 series ...
