Hi guys, recently I've just bought this USB DAC to try it out.
I'm totally new to these audio things, but I wanna learn more about them.
I wanted to buy a entry level amp for the headphones I'm going to buy soon (probably superlux due to budget and also I'm just a beginner)
So I have 2 questions, which is:
1. which amp will perform decent enough for my budget (RM 200-300)
2. which superlux headphones is for casual users (music oriented)

Should i get either FIIO e6 amp or ESS SABRE ES9023 Audiophile USB DAC to improve the music experience?

but I'm still rather confused with PC audio setup.. what kind of setup I can have if I have a entry bookshelf speaker like r1900t3?

Yup, i know it is not an audiophile grade speakers. Bought coz it is a 2.1 (my room too small for 5.1), it is a gaming+a little audiophile speakers, and i got a very good deal offer.

hi botak wai, how the tax and shipping fee buy chinese amp or dac? im also got look into musicland one at taobao, wonder the procedure>?

how the brand u suggest compare to musicland dac? is it troublesome when it got problem since no warranty?

seems that the original apple lightning to 30pin adapter has DAC so can use with LOD. seems like cheaper third party ones dont have... another extra cost. if i off the ipad EQ.. will it be ok to Ipad Mini -> headphone jack -> e6 -> headphones ?

so is the Apple internal amp any use ? i have read around that apple products usually have good quality sound outputs. so i guess double amping this would be ok. What do you think ? Else...have to wait for lightning compatible portable amps to come.

if you're using 3.5" interconnect to connect between the walkman and dac/amp, surely it won't use the DAC function.

Hi audiophiles of LYN,

I just bought my Superlux HD660 as entry level Headphones. I'm totally not an audiophile but I do wanna try things out and see if I'll enjoy my rock/heavy/metal music more. (Yeah I'm kinda poisoned. )

So since it's entry level stuff, I'm looking for something really cheap. I've decided to go for those USB DAC forumers are selling, specifically the T-muso ones. I was then suggested that I get an amp at least since my headphones are easier to drive with an amp. (I don't know my terms so correct me if I'm wrong.)

So my question is, can I use portable AMPs for Desktop? Because Desktop Amps no matter how I see it, are too expensive for me and I only look at things cheaper than my headphones (RM150). Something like Fiio E6 or anything you wanna suggest me. Can I use them for desktop? Or is there a need to?

I currently have nothing portable to bring my songs along and I do not have an IEM with me either, but I will get one soon so a portable one can also prepare me as a 2 birds with 1 stone thing.

Think you can suggest me something?
