So next thing would be reel. Just now Rory said budget around RM200+ is a bit little, so what is the recommended budget to get a decent reel which can use on fresh and also seawater ? and what are the brands & models ?

I can't seemed to find any info on Cheras branch but got OceanSea Sportfishing in Sri Kembangan lah.

Can u guys give me a clearer address ? Google map is not giving me anything on the address stated above.

I went to survey around Kepong Metropolitan Park the other day. It has signs saying "No Fishing" but a lot of foreigners and locals just fish there. So i guess very little or no enforcement at all.

The people over there usually catch small Tilapia for dinner at the bank of the pond but i did saw a big splash a bit further from the bank. Maybe 1 of the very few big fishes in the pond because it had been abused 99 by locals and foreigners.

Bro Vioxmonsta, Can you lend me one of your spare spinning reels, a cheap n reliable 1 will be fine for me ? i planned to buy new reel after Rawang trip coz Rory said he gonna bring some of his sponsors' reels for us to test on that day ?

My current reel is about to give up on me.

did Jurassic's rules state that we need to de-barb the hooks ? The last i checked was to use single hook only, maybe i missed out some fine prints.

Tomorrow I will go check Kepong Tackle, JM and also another tackle shop near Batu Cave (got lots of Rapala Lures)

Bro Rory, is the rod you chose for me the other day in Kepong suit for jigging ? i know it is not a jigging rod but just asking (crossing my finger hoping can).
