Nice body you guys have.

Wanna ask how long do you guys take to increase your weights like 10% increase?

I increased my poundage too quickily to a point i suffered injury and the medical bills are damn high....

Too heavy for my bones that's what the docotr said  sad.gif
*
Simple maths:
1. 10% of 5lbs= 0.5lbs
2. 10% of 100 lbs= 10lbs
3. 10% of 300lbs = 30lbs.

You want an increase of 10% each time you lift damn easy if you started with light weight.
You want an increase of 10% each time after you lift intermediate is hard cause you lifting heavy.
You want an increase of 10% each time after you are an advance lifter,VERY DIFFICULT because you lifting FREAKING DARN HEAVY.

So, think of increasing poundage within suitable range. Listen to your body, put down your ego.

Injury will be the last b**** you want to hook on with.

Been lifting weights, still gaming as well, don't think it's a mutually exclusive thing.

im 28. had been playing WoW (hardcore) for the past 3 years before burning out. been doing weights ever since. seriously man, gaming = no life. you have no idea how much money i saved just by gaming. Come back from work not even time for dinner, played until well past midnight and go back to work a zombie. no time for anything else at all.

its true you can still game, work and lift weights, ive tried going back to gaming about a year ago but its just not a good idea. mmorpg games tend to suck me in =/. Much prefer to hang out with friends, my girl and family rather than sit in front of the pc zombified.

Yes, I prefer social rather than playin games maybe because I always afraid to be alone. Gaming just can't attract me,maybe because I couldn't let myself spending too much on something without enjoying the "benefits". Me and my friends spend exactly same amount, I spend in purchasing weights; He spend in arcade and gaming.Maybe we both have fun our own way, but I will still prefer my way if I'm given a chance to re-choose. rclxm9.gif

mike, is this why u dun like ur brother to repeat the same thing over?

I'm a pretty hardcore gamer myself. Especially when we have complete 5 vs 5 DOTA game in office every lunch hour and after office hour. But, even though its tempting to play after work, I always prioritize gym.

Balik rumah I always play, whether a round or two of arcade game on x-box or letting sims 3 runs on my system. I find its relaxing and satisfying.

You can have both people. Just learn how to effectively manage both.

LOL. Saw you cos-play also. Is that a job? Or interest?

We all can do Anything in our life we desire to whether it's sports, traveling, sports, body building, reading and the list goes on.

Don't excessively over do it. Too much of anything is no good.

I have a stable job, active in my favorite sports, go drinking with my buddies occasionally, play TF2 casually for leisure, like to watch tv also. Have a good gf, happy family too. Seem that my life is balance and moderate. Up to how you manage your time for your daily things.

Good luck!:)

Same stuff I do all the time. Except lower reps and lower volume. Workouts last half an hour.

Hmm... you did said you are now more on machines? Got back to squatting? So did you increase the intensity of the workouts by shortening the rest time? hmm.gif
