Anyone get to use mod gtalk with video chat? As far as I know it is just using the back camera and not front camera, and my friend could not see or hear me
*
No luck with me too. I just use Tango as another alternative to video call with my parents and my friends.

Sorry to ask a noob question, how can i upgrade my current Android 2.2 to the 2.3 or 2.3.3 or 2.3.4?
Which 1 is more relevant to Malaysian environment ?
*
you can find it mostly in the first page. it's very very useful. there are lots of links provided directly to the xda forum, you might wanna check those. well, for my short review, if you want to have a good battery life in idle and good speed, 2.3.3/2.3.4 are good for you, but if you looking for much more stable rom, i think 2.2.1 is the best. i tried jvp stock rom before, miui galnet, 2.3.3 jvk and f1 gs2 mod but still i prefer to use the old XWJS8 as my daily use because of the battery and stability.

My PapagoX5 which was working very well in Froyo (official) kept on crashing on my 2.3.4. Anyone experienced this?

I upgraded to the official Malaysian 2.3.3 using KIES but it drained my battery during idle (bedtime) like hell. I thus flashed it to European (I think) 2.3.4 and the problem vanished. Enjoying the rather smooth and fast interface now.
