hi
just wondering...am i allowed to withdraw my application coz my results did not meet the requirement and my parents adviced me to study elsewhere as its kinda useless to spend 150k to study there as there is a high possibility for me to struggle and the fees will definitely be a burden as ptptn is not enough to cover it....tho i already paid the non-refundable acceptance fee for a place 2month ago, i find that its worth the change cause the other uni im applying to is 2 times cheaper and the program is not bad....plus the uni accommodation is already full and have to resort to off-campus which i find much more expensive and inconvenient....
I called the office regarding the outcome of my status and they said its a borderline case so they can't reply till this week which they haven't.....
So would like to ask you guys your thoughts...should i wait for the status outcome or immediately call to wthdraw?
Kinda worried coz commencement date is on 18.....
Thanks

Since it say "non-refundable", so I am not sure if you can get back that 1k or not. Is the 1k refundable if Nottingham rejects you in the end? If that is the case, you may consider emailing the undergraduate admission tutor of your course (go to the staff page for your respective school, you should find one lecturer doing that) and email him/her, explaining your situation and ask for a reject - so that the admission will give you back the money. If you ask politely, I believe he/she will lend a helping hand since he/she won't get the 1k as commission or what.

But if it's really non-refundable, no point withdraw or whatever, since no chance of getting back.

so its better to wait whether my offer letter is rejeced or not?
If it is...i'll just proceed like u mentioned...
