Hey.
I just registered for the engineering foundation programme (the July intake). Im wondering how are the lecturers like.
On a lighter note, does anyone here go swimming?
The lecturers of Foundation Eng are actually quite friendly and qualified. They teach in a very appropriate pace and does allow time for interactions between students and the lecturer.I just registered for the engineering foundation programme (the July intake). However there are a still a small number of lecturers that are different, meaning their teaching methods are different. (i.e. Doesn't teach very well and has less interaction with students, thus leading to failed transfer of knowledge to students.) But that is normal as I believe every university has its flaws. Fear not though, as even though they do not yet have the skills for lecturing a big group of students (Foundation Eng is a BIG group!), all of the lecturers are more than keen and happy to assist you in private when you make an appointment with them and have questions for them regarding the module.
Overall speaking, Foundation Eng in UNMC is an incredible experience and I assure you that you will definitely enjoy your foundation year.
