wanna ask every1 who own the s23a950d or s27a950d
is the 120hz important for watching movie?

becoz in korea they dont sell s27a950d they only sell the T version
T-version dont have 120hz

and my main purpose will be watching high quality movie
so i want to know that the 120hz is it important in watching movie?
i know some games can go ups to more than 60hz, so it is definitely good for gaming.
But for movie then i m not sure.
as far as i know, most movies are only 24fps (am i right?)

and when i see the LED TV from samsung, they got the MOTION PLUS thing. 100hz and 200hz.
It makes the movie feels very smooth (altho abit fake, but i like it)

i wan the motion plus feature, is it same with the 120hz of this monitor?

thx

go to setup> eco> adjust sensitivity and brightness level

if u r using DVI cable, make sure refresh rate at 120hz, HDMI cable is limited to 60hz only

thats what you get when you watch active 3d screen. the brightness is still the same level, but due to 3d process, the brightness will be lost in the process. to counter that effect, samsung make the monitor have extra brightness feature, so if you lower the brightness during 3d what you get is just a normal 3d monitor withdark screen.

only lower the brightness if you feel its too bright when in 2d mode. when in 3d mode you must maxed out the brrightness first.

no wonder , its become so dark when on 3D , so its normal la ?

I tot i install a games make the 2D to 3D feature goes wrongly ..

Actually last night i install the Dues EX , when i open 1stly , they pop up the menu ,
so i pick high for all setting . cause using GTX570

and I pick the 3D stereoscopic , and inside the game , i turn on my 3D glass, but the 3D glass wouldn't turn on , so I dont know , I adjust manually the 2D to 3D , and put on the glass , wah .. everything turn up so dark , lol

I tot , the games make everything goes worst .
but when i go out . and restart the game , but the menu setting for the game did not pop out again , so i worried anything happen . biggrin.gif
