Compact cant compare to SLR

I bought my Nex-3 from Sony Style - RM 1599 with pan cake lense + sony screen protector + sony 8GB hg card.
can have option RM 75 to increase the warranty to 3 years.
Which I think is the must because normally my camera spoilt after 1 year used.

One thing Sony provide 12- 24 months interest free installment for credit card purchase.
Which i think is a very good bargain.

Sonyalpharumor say NEX-5E and NEX7 and that Zeiss 24mm launching late August and available October.

the 1st one was my A700 hahhaa.... just remember i put in the wrong photo

adjusted the brightness n level.... sharp could b due to i shoot with small aperture (f5.0) for the bridge....
i wan more dof.... so for landscape i will use f4.0-f8.0.... this will gif u a sharper image.... will definately help wen u use peaking mf
NEX is worth.... looking @ the price as compare to compact.... i would choose a NEX over compact.... oso depends on how serious are u into photography
1st pic was taken by my A700 with sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm
but even with the NEX 16mm kitlens u can oredi take very nice landscape photos....

the tree is purposely put there as the foreground.... cut or not doesn't matter much to me

anyone using manual 28mm or 35mm lens? I've been using a 50mm recently but the focal length is just too far for my baby with the peaking...

At first I was waiting for Nex C3 coz released in other country dy but malaysia dunno when they will release it.

I agreed with you, I was a S90 user, but now I just love the feeling of snaping around with Nex.
And the price also not much different if compare to those high end compact.

i got a 35mm for my nex, MF as well
but shot at wide open, the image always not as sharp as i expected

may i know wat aperture u using? try stopping down to f2.8 or f4.0 sh gif u sharper pic... wide open harder to get sharp pic due to its shallow DOF.....

cjlai, normally i shot at 1.4

rx330: 1.4 u need to watch up ur MF, it will easily go OOF

yea lor, tats y, always blur abit, not super duper sharp
worst is the movement of the camera, makes it lagi jia lat
