They wouldnt put much $$$$ in advertising the N9 one lah, esp since Elop dont intend to sell a lot of it

Mr Elop wants it dead, but the staff & maybe Board of Directors dont want. They worked so hard for it over the years. Elop just came not long only. Nokia's contract with Intel is they must release one, normally it includes advertising the product.
Personally, I think this looks like a low key trial run of promo campaign for WP7. They test on N9 1st, if boleh, full force jalan for WP7.

I think not yet, cos not yet launch as in device not yet arrive. Wait product in stock, then we see. 700 & 701 had full page adverts when it launched, so far N9 only small paragraph in IT section.
And yes, a lot of people still think it's another Symbian phone, successor to N8.

I meant they test out advert & marketing strategies, this is from advertising point. With N9 they are testing. If the campaign used is good, they will use the ideas for WP7 promo, on a bigger scale. Usually companies use more or less similar marketing campaign for their products. N9 is being positioned differently from the usual Symbian, so will WP7 me thinks

Iphone 4 also above RM2,200 at launch, up to 32 GB. No 64 GB. So many restrictions some more, glass back cover, which is a no no for me. It's like made for those who everyday nicely sit in the office or home.

Anyway, you want Iphone, next year also can buy mah, the latest one. N9 wouldnt have N9-01 or N10 liao, later we keep it in our private museum

Dont think it was Elop's plan for N9 to compete with the other high end phones, hence the limited units, limited countries

having 2nd thoughts abt ur purchase?lol. I only consider it risky if the phone die(totally kaput) less than a year.
Buy stock at share market lagi risky, 1 day can lose tens of thousands,hahahaha

I think what they are to say is all telco also will charge more if you dont have data plan. for prepaid, it's 10 cent per kb or something. when i dont use data plan, it will charge RM5 just for short time of usage.
Maxis is known to charge more than Digi but coverage better.

How abt this, you wait a few days till we get our N9, then test. Btw, Iphone charge how much more than ur E71& using which telco?

Dealer told me telco one no 64GB, only 16GB.

I just called the dealer. only 16GB arrive today. 64GB one or 2 more days. Btw, its the biggest dealer in melaka, they have 3 branches. The salesman said freebie is bluetooth headset BUT maybe not BH 505.
Salesman said those listed as nokia store get priority -those in workshops list and ninja contest. Melaka one salesman said is 'nokia solution partner', one grade lower than nokia store.
So, good stuff go to nokia store 1st, others later.

But since you're in kl@anyway, hmmm, change? Buy something else from that shop with the $100
