I'm near Belakong, the Cheras Selatan Jusco. But I only have brown and red switches with me
hehe, KCS75 is still my preferred earphone at that price range, cant complain much.
I think cyclone actually brought in 50 sets (blue, black, red and blue)
I still forgotten to bank in RM4.50 to him.....
*
nah, you can bankin when you're free, it's not urgent LOL.

Well, yeah. i only bring in 50 sets which include (brown black red and blue)

i only have 5 black, 10 blue, 10 brown, 15 red, while 4 keyboard act as sample(each switch 1 keyboard), and 6 unit keyboard act as backup warranty incase they failed to function, i can just instant swap them with new keyboard without all the hassles that they need to wait for like few weeks or month for warranty. =)

Honest, already sold out browns, only red, blue, black left.

Why is brown more popular than red/black?
*
In some ways, Browns has better life-span than blue ones because blue has more moving parts compare to all Cherry MX Switch.

But currently now, after i sold out my blue switch, i will only order them a little just like Black. Since all the keyboard that i have receive for quality checking, Blue is the most trouble-some switch i faced, because i have to sit infront pc, and open one per one keyboard and personally click to check all the switch sound and work correctly, and for my disappointment, i already found 2~3 blue switch in my keyboard stock that does not sound right, and i have queue them to send back to headquarters.

For Brown, Black and Red, they have less problem and better life-span due to less moving parts. that's all i can explain in my view.

Well, 7G at RM300 is a good price. The best price I could get locally for 6Gv2 is RM341, which is RRP RM379 with 10% discount.
*
or you can look for alternative like Leopold, or Ducky, or Filco.

Since 7G Works the same as other mechanical keyboard, if you want USB hub in Steelseries 7G, be warned they are only 1.1 USB not 2.0.

u can taobao for it, this 1 is cheaper than the other because of the switch. lol
not bad actually, when i 1st removed the caps i was like oh will i regret of getting this? but then, no. xD
pretty worthed, different feel. I still like linear switch more btw
*
well, me too, i prefer linear switch more, if wanted to compare with other kind of switch, feels easier to type without resistant and double tapping is convenient.

For the keyboard, i think it's very easy to customize/mod, even the logo itself, which is easy to remove with just sand paper, and you might be able to engrave your name with CNC Mill lolololol.

how am i suppose to get a milling machine? LOL
*
Well.. seriously, i'm planning to get 1 when i have enough money. make custom keycaps for malaysian. =)

Mostly would be stainless steel, aluminium, or titanium thou. Maybe Wood also, who knows, right?

For other kinds of keycaps like PBT, POM, ABS, i guess that would be giving to KBC Group in china, they have better knowledge on making these, especially about PBT and POM Material Keyboard, Because these PBT and POM Keycaps, are pain in the ass in manufacturing. because when it cooling down, the keycap will shrink and deform.

Red are soft and smooth to use/type on. Like boobs =X
Red need some time to get use to.
After learning not to bottom out on the switches, you will then enjoy reds.
*
i have to agree on this, Red seriously need some times to get used to it, and important fact is that don't bottom out on the switch, then you'll enjoy red.

but i don't have comment on boobs thou, since i never touch one so i cannot comment. still a virgin =X

How to train for not bottoming out?

I am still not quite used to my Filco Red-switches. Thinking of switching to brown-switches.
*
actually, for beginner to learn touch typing, brown is more easier to learn since when you felt the "tactile bump" the switch is already activated that time, you can train yourself just by pressing the key until it reach tactile bump and release again.

Brown is much more easier to learn compare to red.

but i think it's all depends on your budget, if your budget allows it, you can try to get a brown to learn, well, i can imagine you would like to use brown after you use it for quite sometime. If your budget not allow, i think it's best that you stick with your Filco Red and train it the hard way.

Btw, I am currently allowed to Distribute Topre Keyboard in malaysia now, will make a thread soon.

Topre Keyboard pricing can refer to http://www.elitekeyboards.com/ , will be slightly cheaper abit. just do the conversion.
