To those who cant read Chinese or haven realise, the casing of the keyboard seems to be made of metal(seems like iron).
Quite similar to this.

How hoping that they polish the edge of the keyboard nicely or else your hand gonna get hurt during typing, LOL.

Oh my i hate flat design... don't think you get to fully taste the switches then, since the bump not so deep already.
*
But it stated that the travel is still 4mm. Now lets wait and see if the design allow us to press the keys deep enough comfortably. Logitech's PerfectStrokeâ„¢ key system do make 3.2mm key travel on low profile comfortably.

it remains the same, they raise the keyboard casing height, for the keycap, take your keycap, think of the 1/2 top part is keycap flat profile, while the 1/2 below is extra part.

it will not affect the 4mm distance travel or changing the switch, all are the same except keyboard casing height as well as different keycap design.
*
I know but you can see that the keycaps height different is so close. If we want to press down a key fully to 4mm, we may pressed the keys below or near it too.
Though, it depend on your hand typing style.

Sorry for my noob question but what is a stabilizer for? Like dampen the typing noise?
*
LOL, can you imagine pressing down a big sized key(space bar, shifts) without stabilizer?
You pressed off-centered a bit then the whole key will tilt.

For razer BW's left shift, a little bit off centered press already will make the friction unbearable.

In short, stabilizer function is to ensure the whole key pressed and depressed parallelly.

i think first ppl need to learn how to touch type.
point of mech kbs is that u only need a very light touch to activate the key, no need to bottom it out like membrane keyboards.

Does adding the o ring will turn your mechanical fel to membrane feel? I know it will help to dampen some noice butt hows the feeling like with the oring on? hmm.gif
*
I think it will sure change the feel if you are the type that like to fully press down a key. Most ppl which like Cherry Switch over scissor switches because they prefer the long travel(4mm) of Cherry Switch over short(<2.5mm) of scissor switch.

However if you are the type of users which only press halfway, i think it wont affect you much(you dont even need for it, LOL).

I know, but you saying that mechanical keyboard's point is a light touch to actuate keys, which is not necessary true.

I'm wondering what is the actual "best" mechanical gaming keyboard in terms of performance, currently available? Searching in Google and asking around in other forums turn up that Filco boards, despite apparently being designed for office use, is actually the best option for enthusiasts.

Is this really true, even beating companies dedicated to gaming peripherals such as Razer's Blackwidow and Steelseries' Z-Board? If so, I'm going to look for one just to test it out.
*
It depend on what you seek for:
Features(NKRO, macro, USB port, multimedia keys)
Built quality
Bling bling(backlit or some flashy finish)

no, i do not have stock for the moment, my next batch of keyboard arrival is at november, if you want, you can place a order with me, and it will be ship together with my next batch of keyboard, futher discussion please use pm, i don't want mod use aeroplane dogfight and shoot my ass.  tongue.gif  tongue.gif

anyway, my demo topre appears to be same model as the one you have right now, the keyboard are surprisingly good. i have to agree that the keyboard is indeed has a more "smooth" feeling then a brown. one thing i still haven't get comfortable with are the QAZ line, they are much more lighter as my finger are not getting use to it.
*
So actually, what version of Topre having uniform force for all keys?

Because I am not typing using the ''correct'' way of typing, I almost dont use my pinky finger at all(except left Shift). Thus, I will prefer all keys to be uniform.

PBT with sub-dyed printing. Probably the highest standard in printing you can get.

Apparently the detachable macro keys is not mechanical. Disappoint.
Its a little on the big side but the looks is awesome.
*
It had being proven by the designer(Dearmo) that the 6 detachable keys are indeed non mechanical(i saw it around last year IIRC).

It is consider ''better'' as only 4 keys are not mechanical,
/hint corsairvengeance
/endhint

But, I will still take Corsair over it anyday for brand and aesthetic factor. whistling.gif

Seriously though, they should be worth the money if you detest shiny keys.
*
Doubleshots(which normally presumed to be ABS, cause PBT can't/hard) doesn't stop/prevent shiny keys, nuff said.

PBT keys do prevent/minimize/slowing the shinning though.

What's left now is a CNC Aluminum case
Why does so many group buys happen all at once
*
Hmmm, the PCB layout, seems like able to mount a Numpad on right. shocking.gif
It will be nice if it really do as I super like this type of layout(as of my Dell Vostro 3700), space saving without compromise productivity.
Now the only doubt is where to get a casing for that?

I believe that isn't always the case.

It might fit, but not with the same layout, since it has no holes for the 2 Unit Numpad zero, Numpad Enter and Numpad +, plus you need to rewrite the code for the numpad.

I'd take the easy way out and buy a numpad, and put it on the right side of my mouse if I ever need to key in shit loads of numbers.
*
I would prefer a KBC Poker + Numpad combination then(though, I still need F-keys sometimes....) as I don't really need the arrow keys.
Numpad 4,8,6,2 can the job too when Num Lck is off. Not like there is (much) situation which need both number and arrows at the same time(even if it does, it will just be a numlock away whistling.gif )

So in short, I wonder why those OEM never(or rarely) go for the Filco Mini 100 design as it fit the requirement of both space saving and with numpad. Much more useful than 87 keys degisn IMO...

Quality, durability, comfortableness and user experience(solid build).
