It is not necessary to change keycap if you can stand the oily surface. and the word is not fading at all unlike to my Noppoo Choc keycap start fading after few days of usage. LOL!
nah, blame the printing. mine still visible though
Nope, the local distributor never brought that it...
Added on August 31, 2011, 12:43 amRazer launched a new Razer Blackwidow Ultimate called Stealth Edition. Brown switch with matte finish!!! No more fingerprint nightmare!!!
too bad they not releasing any linear switch board. *sigh* some comments on the PLUM board i bought earlier: -not-so-good-looking logo -big size, cant fit well in my keyboard bag -4KRO
hey all .. any recommendation on mechanical keyboard ?? I want something that is silent when typing =D .. The quality also must be good and lasting XD .. Thanks a lot =D
if your budget is below 200, PLUM red switch is the best choice.
Oh... Actually i was also suspecting it to be a Ducky (it looks so similar to the Ducky Rabbit Edition that i saw some time ago, but with white engraved lettering), but since i saw the stabilizers (i think that is the same used by the Leopold that you reviewed not long ago), so i thought it to be a leo.... So meaning Ducky and Leopold are using the "cherry stabilizers", the ones with proximity switches on the larger keys rather than the wire-type used by Filco? Wo.... ring + wire!!!! how you make that???
N-key rollover (NKRO) is only possible with a direct connection to a native PS/2 port on the computer which also has other limitations that USB overcomes. The Razer BlackWidow keyboards' anti-ghosting capabilities serve a similar purpose while using the more modern and readily available USB port.
Font coming off or dirty very fast = i suggest you get doubleshot Keycap getting too smooth? = use wet sandpaper settle, i settle my spacebar with wet sandpaper. =X
what will wet sand paper do? my case is the caps went from matte surface to "mirror special edition" after some heavy usage (SFIV,TF2,MW2,O2Jam,LR2,etc). lol
