received my leopold fc500r from cyclone a few days ago. decided swap out to blank keycaps and try to force myself to type with the Drovk keyboard layout instead. so far, it taking longer than necessary to type this sentence out. >.<" let's see can I last a week in it.

But the world's fastest typist used dvorak layout to achieved that..... if use qwerty, max is 2nd fastest....
But i cant adapt to dvorak.... already got too used to qwerty....

no one say that you can master Dvorak within a day.
hence why I say blank helps becuz existing labeled caps can confuse you abit when you forget the layout and look.

and also why i have shortcut keys to switch btw layout. ^^

Greetings.. I am new to this forum, but have had my share of experience in mechanical keyboards.
I began looking into mechanical keyboards around six months ago (although my first experience with them was IBM model M and acer, back in my early days of using PC, which I promptly forgot until recently).

I bought my first mechanical (filco tenkeyless, blue switch) around 6 weeks ago.. and the next time I know, I was impulsively adding others to my possessions (see sig). Oh, well, consider I'm sold to this whole mechanical keyboards thing

I am currently captivated by mini form-factor keboards, you know, the likes of HHKB . Right now, I am thinking about modding my HHKB and Nopoo choc mini by adding a programmable controller and additional USB port, as I am using both on laptops, thus making the back-placed USB cable and hub inconvenient.

Alas, my knowledge of electronics and programming are almost nonexistent for these kind of methods, so if any denizens of this thread can point me to the directions as to where to start and what I should read as basics before starting..

Any info would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

I wonder why ClackFactory dont mass-produce his skull keycaps.... would be so difficult for others especially those who dont have credit cards (like myself, coz still a student) to buy.....

Guys actually, compare mechanical keyboard to normal keyboard, what's the difference? I thought of getting a keyboard too preferably illuminated so i can work at night in the dark as well.

Nice. What keyboard will u recommend if i have a budget like 200-300 ? Trying not to stretch more than 300. The keyboard is mainly for gaming and typing, good durability and illuminated if can , i saw a lot of mech keyboard that looks exactly like the normal keyboard lol.

Which leopold model are u guys recommending ? Very hard to find the seller le.
