QUOTE(MichaelJohn @ Oct 19 2011, 12:12 AM) if you want silent switches, linear switches will do. (black, red)if low clicky sound, brown/clear maybe? Cyclone might be bringing in the Leopold Clear TKL version. |

yea, saw that before. but no idea how it really feels like.
only know that you will not bottom the keys as the ring prevent the key caps from hitting the metal plate. is it? |

QUOTE(C-Note @ Oct 20 2011, 05:47 PM) hey guys, ever consider to get a ducky shine?hoping to jump from G15 to a mechanical keyboard. Any significant difference between normal keyboard and mechanical? Not sure if its worth the leap of faith. Currently looking at the Ultimate Black Widow. Not interested in the normal Black Widow coz no backlight...not used to since i come from a backlit G15 u can get more details from Storm88, estimated price is around 420. |

QUOTE(kilsmap @ Oct 21 2011, 03:52 PM) ghosting is really annoying From my experience with the Leopold FC500R i got from cyclone, it can achieve 20KRO under USB and full NKRO under PS/2. you can consider to get a Leopold if you want. This post has been edited by lucidlts: Oct 21 2011, 04:01 PM |

QUOTE(kilsmap @ Oct 21 2011, 04:05 PM) yeah, exactly...definitely Leopold is in my consideration, as well as Ducky...so far, how's ur experience with Leopold, especially when gaming? well, my Leopold is not for gaming purposes i uses other mechanical keyboards (PLU,PLUM,Steelseries often) for gaming. For music games like LR2 (bms simulation), O2jam, Synth'N(DJMAX simulation), the NKRO gives me an advantages of pressing >7 keys simultaneously without any ghosting interruption. black switch is somewhat stiffer and it helps me in rapid tapping a lot. For FPS games like MOH,COD which i usually played, black switch helps giving me a smoother moving action, better melee or special grenades as black switch is a linear switch ( no bumps when pressing ). just my preference for linear switches, everyone has their own preferred type of switch, so it is better if you can try them out before rewarding your fingers with a mechanical keyboard. |

QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Oct 25 2011, 03:48 AM) Some Qsenn keyboard. Im guessing it's rubber dome you should consider getting a Leopold keyboard I've done my research between Das and Filco, and I think I would be getting Filco instead due to certain complaints on das, convenience and personal preferences. Is there anything I should look for? Like version name for defects as with the Das? Just tried blue, brown and black keys on the Filco.. Poisonous |

playing tetris on linear is better i guess?
when u're 1st shifted from rubber dome to mechanical keyboard, u'll bottom all the keys u press. just need some time to get used to the actuation force. |
