PM is private and confidential and it's not easy to probe. A lot of effort needs to be put in; thus the admin doesn't go probing into one's PM for no reason.
So what they can do is actually trace from when is his last login and trace his IP. We as mods don't have that access.

I would say go report police first and ask the inspector to call him on the spot with the inspector's phone.

Make a police report. Having a report filed against you may deter some employers from hiring you (especially larger firms with plenty of confidential data, they'll do a background screening before you're allowed to be employed), not to mention he's so bloody young, he's basically screwing with his own future.


ADD: Do tell his parents about what he's doing too. Preferably after/during the making of the police report.
