Hard to get locally. I manage to get at Munich airport at discount. Very nice and classy.

Issey L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme is a fresh citrus fragrance. Not bad but can be a bit sharp and overpowering if over applied. Good projection so be careful not to offend people.

I see. I have Polo Blue (first perfume I ever bought), YSL L'Homme, and Lacoste Essential in rotation. Thinking of my next purchase before one of them runs out. Blue for any occasion, Essential for a laid back vibe, and L'Homme for dates or more serious occasions.

Considering Black as heard a lot of men getting compliments because of it or Aqua as I find it to be quite a classy scent.

Hey can you elaborate more on Lacoste Essential ?
Is it citrusy or is it sweet ?

This just came in the mail today. F By Ferragamo Black.
user posted image

First impression:

This is really a Black scent. Very warm, masculine, sensual and classy. Truly a fragrance for evening or formal function. Smelling this projects a mental image of a matured professional, confident and romantic. Projection is medium as it is not too attention grabbing or loud. But when in the scent range definitely detectable.

Notes: Lavender, tonka beans, pepper, labdanum.
Not suitable for: People who are looking for fresh and young scents. After all this is a black scent.

Hello guys,I think this is my first time surfing this thread...

Alright..I need a perfume that 's attract girls..hmmh doh.gif
Budget-rm100-150(Slightly over are also welcomed)
Requirement,-Guess can be something sweeter?...Not cooler or something like addidas is a big ''no''

There is a question to ask you guys ,the experts
Will my perfume change fragrance after like having sweats?..
Cause sometimes I sweat,and I do sweat a lot..
-,-''

So thankyou,
Your comments is much much appreciated

Fragrance do get affected by sweat. In your case, I would say go for citrus/fresh aquatics. These fragrances have sharp and frosty notes that will mask your sweat. Avoid musky, woody. earthy scents as they might turn bad with sweat.

For your case, try Aqua Di Gio , L'eau D'Issey, and other summer/aquatic scents.

Tested Thierry Mugler Pure Havane the other day and I have to say OMG ... such a strong and sweet perfume. I am a fan of sweet perfume but NOT that sweet. Tobacco, honey and vanilla ... makes me feel like i am drenched in honey and feel like running to the shower.

Put the tester paper strip in my pocket and after a whole day of friction, I took it out and sniff the dry down. The dry down is really nice, when it is no longer so overpowering.

Needs experience and skill to apply, if you can pull it off.

My next muse is a tea scent. Looking at

Bvlgari Pour Homme Soir
Gucch Pour Homme II

Both seems to get bash for poor longevity. Which would you recommend ?
Any other recommendations ?

it is quite unique.  at first very sweet, very diff than other brands.
Actually Desire Red is VERY similar to Nikos Sculpture. What Sculpture has in extra is a frosty note from the benzoin so it is fresher. Fresh + sweet = winner.

Sample report. I have here 2 samples.
user posted image

I was excited about the mint note but it was a letdown. I detect no mint and no pear leaf note. Instead this smell to me like Polo Blue. The first fragrance I ever bought. I find Polo Blue to be annoying boring and so is XY. Bad longlivety too. Pass.

user posted image

I'm not too keen about sharp citrusy aquatics that seem to pierce the nose. But when i sampled this, what a huge surprise. Its sharp but never going overboard. It is very comfortably fresh but not in an aquatic way but in a green way. Tomato leaves ! I cannot imagine anyone can find this offensive. It projects well and it gives you a casual vibe. This goes to my wish list !

QUOTE(tdw @ Dec 14 2011, 03:00 PM)

I have dreamer and it is my daily scent during the cold days. it works well if it is cold day, I would not reccomend during the hot weather as the sweet smell overpowers the whole smell. dreamer is one of the fragrances that the longer you wear, the better it smells
The only problem is the opening will put off many. The opening is smoky and tobacco-ish so I like it, but I know many hate it so i tend to wear it 10-30 minutes before I go out anywhere. Great for day and night.

*
I find tobacco fragrance to be overpowering in these weather. It is cloying for the first 2 hours but the dry down is nice.
Don't think I can survive through the first few hours. Tried Pure Havane and D&G The One ....made me dizzy. But after >4 hours drydown is nice. How la?

If not mistaken Pure Havane is not limited edition. Only Pure Malt and Pure Coffee is limited edition.

Just tested CK One shock. I just can't agree with the first 2-3 hours of any tobacco base frags. Too cloying but I always love their dry down . That is too friggin unfortunate.
