Need a suggestion for me (I sweat a lot) and I want to find perfume that suitable for office use, night time, outdoor. Maybe you guys can suggest me 3-4 choices

Thank you

Hi,

Can you please explain more on your concern to sweating? Please do not be offended... when you sweat, do you smell unpleasant? or you are just afraid that your sweat might "wash" the perfume away. You may PM me to answer this question. Please do be offended... just want to get a clearer picture. smile.gif

Hey Astoboy,

Hahaha..I'm not offended at all as I took it as normal (at least) for me.

No, i'm just sweating a lot but as at now I don't have any complains about any unpleasant small.

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi ask_Dino, If i sweat a lot... and if my body produces heat frequently.. below's my list:
1. Terre d'Hermes... Citrusy, woody, spicy
2. A Men.. Sweet and warm spicy
3. Creed Aventus.. Fresh, Fruity and sweet
4. Les Nuit d'Hadrien, Annick Goutal ... citrusy and spicy

Just my suggestion... depending on your liking... For me, sweat = body heat. And body heat tends to project some perfumes really well especially spicy and sweet notes. Hope it helps.. Cheers

Astroboy, do you know where can i find L'Instant de Guerlain Pour Homme Extreme in Malaysia?
*
Hello edwardleong,

I got mine in Spore... i don't think it's available in Malaysia. Perhaps, you can try your luck online?? But I normally don't shop online unless i am really desperate smile.gif I received a chipped bottle before and i was really angry.. thereon, i stopped purchasing online sad.gif

Thanks for the list, may I know if there any specific occasion for each of the perfume?

Hi ask_dino,

They are suitable for any occasion... office, night out. etc. You can go over the counter to try the first before purchasing. I think creed, aventus... you can't get it here. nearest is spore. Annick goutal, in Isetan or bangsar Annick Goutal Boutique. A Men.. any major departmental store.. Terre d'Hermes, you can go to Isetan or Parkson Pavilion.

Hi guys,

I wore this to work today... Histoires de Parfums's 1725, the scent is really rare and it's softness and unusual quality.. maybe from the almond gives it a powdery quality. Very lasting.. almost lasted for 16hrs or so.. Very very different from other scents.. Give it a try.. it's really unusual... took me sometimes to speak about this. sad.gif

okay. since you've got quite a collection, what do you think of Dior Homme Intense? does it gives out a really feminine vibe? I only sampled it out. have yet to purchase it to test it out in the long run. short run test : smells like a feminine perfume with that vanilla scheme going on.
yet, on YouTube, it is so hyped out as being 'sexy' and most suitable for dating. I just don't get it
*
ShinKen, i think dior homme intense can't be categorize as sexy... on me it's rather powdery... not like the female type of powder but it's like woody powdery... well, what i can say that different ppl have different chemistry and projects the fragrance differently.. on me... never sexy cos i dont associate powdery with sexy smile.gif Good luck! and happy testing smile.gif

Bro , u get ur Pure Leather in Msia or Oversea ? i do agree  Pure Series are unique in each way =)
*
Hi Kennynoob.

I got mine in HK. In Malaysia I think the pure series is very limited and even if they have, it takes a long time to reach us. I don't understand why... but if they have it here, it saves us lotsa trouble smile.gif

Added on December 15, 2012, 3:13 pmBTW guys... Pure Malt and Pure Havane is not available anymore in HK. When i buy my Pure leather... it's the last one in store... lucky...

My next trip is Tokyo... I might try to get Havane and Malt from there, if they have of course.

i tried aventus yesterday, very smoky, really like it,but the pineapple is very secondary.projects really well though.
today i tried millesime imperial, this is clubbing scent for sure, but a classy clubbing scent, not 1 million or paco rabanne type but its definitely clubbing scent, quite nice.tomorrow will try himalaya or original santal

Hello Kelthuzad, Thank you for sharing.. I am going to get a few from the house of creed next month smile.gif Millesime Imperial will be one of them and also Santal and one more i haven't made up my mind... please share your thoughts on Santal tomorrow smile.gif Thank you in advance.

why not you let me know which one should i test after santal?i have royal oud, green irish tweed(similar to cool water, very)himalaya, and tabarome.i have tested silver mountain water last month,so i can let u know how it smells like, its soft,a lil warm,it really reminds you a bit of a snowy mountain, soft but very nicely done, doesnt shout but classy.i think if you wear this into a meeting room, ppl will look at you.and by saying soft,it has decent longevity.currently out of them all, aventus is my number 1
*
Yes... Aventus is really a good scent.. I have Aventus and GIT.. so i'm thinking either to get Royal Oud or Silver Mountain Water... and of course the others mentioned previously.. smile.gif Thank you again Bro smile.gif
