Lots of people say it is similar to ADG only sweeter. I like sweet fragrances. Maybe will give it a try.

YSL - La Nuit de L'homme, L'homme
Armani - Aqua di gio, Armani Code
Ralph Lauren - Polo Blue, Polo Black, Romance Silver, Polo sport

Guys help me decide between these 2:

- Versace Eau Fraiche
- Aqua Di Gio

And tell me why

Tried using 1 Million sample. All of a sudden ladies are calling me "the guy" as in the guy that bathes in perfume. Its too strong imho for our weather and our culture. Asian ladies are not into heavy smells.

Boss fragrance are fine for Asian taste. But most of them either have poor sillage. My personal favs are Boss Energize and Boss In Motion. Very youthful and fun.

P/S: Monsterous sillager and longevity --> 1 Million and be "that guy"

Not that I'm into racial profiling or anything but this is rather true. When you go to perfume counters, the sales assistant will recommend light scents and say this fragrance is more suitable for chinese folks. Probably due to our cultural background. When girl smell loud fragrance like 1 million, you are 'that guy' in the bad way. Girls I know buy perfume that are fresh and light. So I did this test to see which one of my fragrance that my gf likes best. The result is really surprising. Fragrance enthusiast would not even give this one a second glance. Lacoste Essential Sport. A light and fresh scent.

Back to our fume induced obsession, if you want long lasting and good silage, I'd take Pure Havane over 1 Million any day.
B*Men is selling damn cheap these days but I don't dare to blind buy. Anyone can give a review ?

LOL. Pure Havane is kinda tricky. I got mine from Vienna air port.
But B*Men you can easily get 50ml for about RM110 at Strawberrynet.

Strawberrynet is not 100% cheaper than counter price. But if you are monitor their limited time special price promo, they are definitely cheaper.
But don't expect top sellers like Chanel, Armani, etc to be on sale. Usually lesser known brands are sold on clearence price like Lanvin, Kenzo, Joop, etc ...


Split B*Men ? ....tempting. Was planning to slow down on purchases .... let me think about it.

There are couple of fragrance sellers in the LYN Streetmart that sell vials. Maybe can try there. Or just to up to the departmental stores and spray some on your skin.

Play Intense

I had negative feedback when I tried out 1 Million. It was just too loud, probably best left for clubbing or freezing cold temperature. Depending on mood, even I found it annoying. If I am going for sweet and seductive, Pure Havane, Givenchy Play Intense or Antonio Banderas Seduction In Black would be my pick.

Anybody want to split B*Men or maybe interested of swapping decants of B*Men ?

Not the veins, you spray at pulse points. I don't spray on my wrist. It makes washing your hands a bit tricky. I go for the elbow as it is also a pulse point.

Looks like you are looking for fresh scents. You might want to try Lacoste Essential. It is a fresh and green scent.

No not the white bottle. The juice is in a transparent bottle and comes in a green box.

Joop has other nice frags. Nightflight is one if you like pineapple notes.
Usually when people mention Joop, Joop homme comes to mind.

wah , compare a RM100 fragrance with a RM500 one.
They are different. To me , Nightflight is a fruiter and classier version of Coolwater. Aventus is smoky pineapple. Different directions.

Don't know where to sample it but their bottle reminds me of tesco handwash LOL. Same color and similar bottles.

Hugo Elements is a ginger bomb ....a little bit too spicy for my taste

Why limit yourself to only Bvlgari's selection ?

Was at the department store and the SA was promoting Calvin Klein Encounter. So I thought why not and give it a test. Starts out very interesting, light fruity and boozy but when the mid notes hit, damn ... it turns into a heavy and potent woody oriental which is very familiar.

After some recalling, I remember what it is similar to.

Calvin Klein Encounter = Pure Black Mandarina Duck

Not the kind of frag you want to wear in hot, humid Malaysian weather. You like the heavy stuff give either or both a try.

Burberry Brit is a really nice spicy floral. I just love rose note in a men's fragrance.
Bro, can you elaborate on Kenzo power ? I see there is a rose note in it to. Is it noticebale ? How does it smell ?
