Hey guys, I'm looking for some recommendations on what to use for formal events like dinners, weddings, etc. Normally I just use my same everyday fragrances but I think it would be a good idea to get one for special occasions biggrin.gif

LIDGE has a predominat cocoa smell with aniese. But the aniese actually smell like strawberry to be. So the drydown is cocoa and strawberry.
Very long lasting.

LIDGE , Dior Homme Intense, Salvatore F pour Homme Black, Terre de Hermes.

Anyway do you guys like blind buy ? I like blind buying fragrances especially the cheaper and less reknown ones. Usually just based on the notes and reviews. Found many gems that way and its really exciting.

Yeah, blind buy is fun thumbup.gif. Most of my fragrances I get from blind buy, just base from other reviews. the only fragrance I don't like from blind bought is Leau d'Issey.

L'instant de Guerlain Extreme is my all time favourite, one of the best fragrance I ever smell and the only one frag I have for backup bottle. sadly, we only can get this from online or go to Europe.

btw, anyone tried Gucci pour homme I? I heard it has been discontinued.

Par Zileri Sartoriale

I have very little chance to try fragrance, that's why I always blind buy but sometimes I buy sample especially for expensive and niche smile.gif

mine is the regular, its much more wearable than LIDGE,thats why i have a smaller bottle of LIDGE and this the big one, more versatile.old man smell, but very pleasant surprisingly.usually i will go yuck at old man smell but this is classy.if wearing this to get compliments,i think only ladies above 30s will appreaciate this.but not a bad thing, dont get me wrong.i am starting to wear this more often, glad i got a big bottle.

this is my box set

i own a bottle of GPH I. its a very woody incense frag. it has a very similar smell to d incense used in Catholic church ceremonies. my only complain is d sillage is pretty low key.

i think it has been discontinued or not imported by d local agents anymore. but u can try those stand alone perfume shops. i bought my bottle a few yrs ago fr one of those shops.

Interesting. I don't have any incense fragrance right now, maybe this one worth to try.
