As long as the ABS/EBD module is wired to ur front & rear discs, it'll work accordingly when u E-brake to prevent ur tyre from locking. And yes, it's for all 4 wheels.. I'm not sure whether ur SC knows how to do it.. But I can guarantee CoSE sure can do it.. As long as got computer to hook up the ECU then they can do literally anything..
*
But do CoSE will install for us if we bring all the components along? LOL. But wat should i mention to the chop shop owner if wanna buy disc brake? Boss, i wan full set abs and ebd rear disc brake? laugh.gif

Later proton said, inspira stop production due to the compartments quality like what happening to proton savvy. Savvy using Renault compartments leh, still reject.

QUOTE(Cavino @ Jun 29 2011, 03:00 PM)

Tyre not consider maintenance. Normally will last 30K-50K mileage depending on what tyre you buy, the way you drive and the road you normally drive on. Stock Goodyear NCT5 normally quite lasting. It last me 55K last time on mostly highway drive. At most, it should be able to last at least 30K. That should be abt 2 years to 3 years depending on how much you use the car. If your mileage is very low, avg estimated 4 years HAVE to change tyres even if not used coz it start to harden and have hairline cracks on sidewall.

Nowadays, acceptable entry level tyres cost abt RM180 to RM200 per piece for standard 15".
*
Tyre price gone up d. I just changed mine to continental CC5 for Rm2++ already. The results really nice.

QUOTE(switch_133 @ Jun 29 2011, 03:49 PM)
I just did my 1st wheel alignment after 15k mileage. the shop charged me RM135.

allignment = RM30
camber adjustment = RM35
front camber nuts = RM35 X 2 = RM70

the mechanic said need to install camber nuts @ front side for easier to align & to avoid uneven wear & tear @ both tyres.

after reading some post related to camber, i think i just got ripped off.damn!!!  cry.gif    mad.gif
*
You just got con. Alignment for RM30 is ok. camber nuts do cost Rm35 each. How did you drive your persona oh only 15k change chamber nut?? for chamber nut to run out of alignment is you drive at highway a lot or on uneven road a lot only your chamber nut will run out of alignment. For new car and city drive, chamber nut not so easy to run.
I drive like mad dog and already 1.8 yrs with my persona already and i haven changed my chamber nut also.

As for the chamber adjustment it cost you RM35 also lebih one. Mostly the adjust for you include installation for chamber nut.

mostly i do wheel alignment every 10K mileage. And only cost me about RM45-50. I do full balancing and full alignment. maube KL can get cheaper.

If u got the ABS module they'll wire it to all 4 of ur disc brakes. U understand what I mean? The ABS module adjusts the pressure on ur brake pump to all 4 wheels, not only the rear disc brakes.

*
Ok now i understand. Thanks notworthy.gif

The most important thing to do is to check your tyre pressure, as mentioned by a few members here. Factory tyre pressure can break your backbone if you drive on it over a long period of time. PE's ride, handling & NVH is considered one of the best for a car under RM 60k. If you think your ride is a bit bumpy, it definitely is.

And by the way, what tyre they gave you? If it's Continental, then congrats, you just received one of the best tyre (comfort wise). Silverstone Kruizer (less noise).

Suay until cannot suay lah.. Last evening fell down on the road till my jeans koyak, scratch started from my knee down to my heel. Then after that at that very same night when I was entering my car I stepped on cat business right next to it. Now busy cleaning it up doh.gif
laugh.gif No lah.. Damn tired mah.. Later going out with chic lo.. brows.gif
*
Continental is really comfort wise. Using CC5 now. Damn good.

Jeans koyak? Not koyak in the middle but at your knee there. I wonder how you fall oh? sweat.gif

Cat business. doh.gif I also plan to wash my car this evening. Damn kotor. whistling.gif

Btw xan, my HU sometime cant get the radio clearly. I know antenna receiving signal poor. But one it received it got a bit buzz sound like not clear. Is is really antenna problem? Anyway to improve it? Or changing to other HU is better? laugh.gif

Don't settle for anything below what u're expecting. In this case it's not u unlucky, it's proton's fault for making a faulty vehicle. Listen to what he have to offer first, then only u tell him how much u're expecting. Or else he sure 'discount' ur request kaw kaw wan.. When u buying car from him u'll never see him give such 'great' discounts..
*
Yeah true. You offer a price, if they cannot pay you, ask them loan from bank. You loan for proton cars the interest is not cheap. Tell him, last time you din give me discount now you wan discount. Paying so exp for this kind of bloody car. Lucky nothing happen to me during my drive or I will have you all pay for it.

Damn last 2 days i witness a Proton tiara burning at the road side and manage to put out by fire fighters. If PE burnts. shakehead.gif
