@dojob: Get the OCBC Titanium is better for 5% Petrol cash-back. The 3 swipes within xx days to get RM50 is not shown on UOB website, unfortunately.

thks for the info, i did not look at the first page, but i went through the t&c from uob site.
but they did not mention card preference and qualifications(to lower).
i wanted a petrol card only, so dont need the plat. no difference actually. who would have wanted to pay extra annual fees when there are free ones available (not ONE card)

Added on July 15, 2012, 11:53 amthe catch now is, i wanted to skip all the hustle to downgrade the card, after application, who knows i have to pay gst twice.....

The UOB ONE Card Classic has lower cap for Petrol Cash-Back per month

QUOTE
For the rebate category of petrol, the maximum Cash Rebates awarded for purchases
made by the Cardmembers shall be capped at RM600 for Platinum card and RM400 for Classic
card per month
.

I enquire about Annual Fee Waiver for UOB ONE Card
- Cards issued in 2012 will get 2-year free Annual Fee
- If we don't achieve the minimum requirement (per post#1), you need to call the Customer Service to ask for manual AF waiver brows.gif

I guess UOB wlll most probably waive it, but the point is why come out with this ridiculous policy which causes in convenience to the cardholders that settle in full monthly and also use up the customer service resources. For those who have installment plans and outstanding balances, they don't won't waive also cannot do anything.
*
Maybe UOB hopes you don't call to waive the AF, as it's additional revenue stream for them. rolleyes.gif cool2.gif

Still hate we can't amend the SMS Transaction Alerts from the default level of RM500. Maybe we should complain to Bank Negara.

The application form get from BHP Petrol Station or BHP HQ or BHP Website lah.... where else would you "logically" get a BHP E-Card form from ?
Maybe Shell/Petronas/Caltex/Petron has them too....

p.s. peri-peri has been labelled Spam King

Each individual approval timeframe, depends on their financial standings.

I just got my UOB Preferred Platinum and utmost disappointed with it after I get to know there's no more free entry to KLIA / LCCT lounge from this forum.

However, I called their CS, and they informed me the following:

- RM50 cash back after swiped 3 times.
- first two years annual fee is waived.

anyone can validate this?
*
The above offer is correct....
