QUOTE(JohnLai @ Aug 30 2017, 10:03 PM) 4K mode only use 20Mbps bitrate. But....my system can't handle it....it choked halfway, aint buffering issue...... GTX970 and overclocked I5-3570K at 4.2Ghz for all cores....... No hardware acceleration as it uses VP9 video......My gpu sucks...... It's more like a cpu bottleneck look at the usage, my laptop which has a 3337u core i5 also can't handle it. This post has been edited by yongtjunkit: Sep 1 2017, 12:02 PM

Hi, would like to ask a few questions about the digital TV 1. Can Ipoh area receive the digital TV signal (to be specific around this area: https://goo.gl/maps/CgB4eVLfJP52)2. Can the existing analog antenna be used for digital TV?

QUOTE(shaun_kok @ Jan 1 2019, 12:02 PM) 1. Usually the reception it will be possible if you can receive analogue TV from Gunung Keldang (8TV, NTV7, TV9) , since DTT uses exact the same mast with analogue TV in case on your area. 2. Definitely can. You should try to use your existing TV antenna for reception first. So does this mean that without alignment I can receive the digital TV signal?

QUOTE(shaun_kok @ Jan 1 2019, 01:14 PM) You will need a DVB-T2 enabled Set top box/TV in order to receive DTT however. Sounds like a plug in replacement to me. Thanks

QUOTE(Qash-M @ Jan 1 2019, 11:02 AM) digital TV is can be received by UHF antenna. If the dvb t2 tuner is set up in pj, can it be used in Ipoh out of the box ? Or does it requires a rescan just like radio ?

Is the “siaran digital “ watermark embedded into the channel itself or it can be turned off?

QUOTE(work_tgr @ Jan 9 2019, 01:53 PM) Maybe.. Test first. It also depends on the signal strength at your location. Like my house, to receive MYTV channels, outdoor antenna must be installed on top of the house's roof. Was able to receive analog/ digital tv from top floor( near window- not very good/stable), go to ground floor difficult to get signal( 90%+ unusable ) analog being more usuable This post has been edited by yongtjunkit: Jan 9 2019, 02:47 PM

QUOTE(Snoe II @ Jan 14 2019, 11:16 PM) Not sure though. Never rescan after setup it few months ago. Just set it to automatically add new channel if found. Btw, my antenna is facing to Bukit Sg Besi. Not Menara KL. 😅 Is there anyway to set auto add on the MYTV basic box? This post has been edited by yongtjunkit: Jan 15 2019, 04:06 PM

QUOTE(JuneResources @ Mar 6 2019, 11:29 AM) So right now situations MYTV still not part of the TM, am I right? If analogue TV signal shut down, then need to use this MYTV decoder to watch free channels. For the 2nd question, if your tv supports DTV(DVB-T2) then don’t need the MYTV box, if your tv doesn’t support, then you’ll need a DVB-T2 box such as the MYTV box to watch free tv

QUOTE(kamfoo @ Mar 22 2019, 01:47 AM) glad to my crt tv can still receiving channel. analog tv should be extends because many poor still use crt tv You can connect the decoder to the CRT TV with RCA cable ( red, white, yellow) You can even find 1 under RM100 and the picture quality is way better than analog TV with more TV channel. QUOTE(Qash-M @ Mar 31 2019, 06:15 AM) Mux 2 is now active with most RTM TV channels lineups in HD while SD version of TV1, TV2 and TVOkey is ceased. Not nationwide yet. Where is changes live ?,assuming rescan is required ? Also is there any way to check for the latest channel list online instead of rescanning the decoder 1st ? I’ve deployed the decoder at my Aunt's house which is 2 hours away from me This post has been edited by yongtjunkit: Mar 31 2019, 08:12 AM
