TV1,2,3,7,8,9, Al hijrah (full HD)

Klang valller received transmission from Menara KL (freq: 666Mhz (Channel 45), 682Mhz (Channel 47) & 698Mhz (Channel 49)

thanks

all three frequency broadcasting the same thing?

as in 666 = 8 channels
682 = 8 channels
698 = 8 channels

or 666=3 channel
682 = 3 channel
698 = 2 channel?

Cause there is no analog terrestrial signal at rural area, sarawakian has no chance to watch local channel in first place.
Which is why you can see most of rural area (with diesel generator) use parabolic (either astro or FTA satellite broadcast) for mass media consumptio

if mati mati want to watch rtm, still can. its broadcasted over measat at 3.918ghz unencrypted.
using C band means no fear of rain, unlike astro

thats y never tie down your tv to the built-in 'smart' function or dvbt2
adding an extra box just minimal cost

tv is not supposed to be upgraded unless major change, ie 4k contents becoming normal

They better not. what is the use of paying expensive encryption for this few channels? unless they are on par with Astro or other paid tv overseas.
*
depends on the content. remember some years ago tv2 got licence to air world cup. however tv2 under astro have to black out due to licencing issue.
this is due to region rights

Hi i wanna ask is it we buy the cable to plug into the wall and connect another end to tv to watch local live tv ? Do i need to buy some antenna or what ?
*
depends on your condo. if they use a narrowband mixer amplifier, may cut out some frequency that is used for the dvb
no harm trying. plug into the tv socket

Do you have any recommendation on the small indoor type of antennae (non-digital type) that can receive local TV program?
*
if signal strong and no obstruction, just one piece of wire good enough.

Some central antennas (unintentionally)  cause digital signals to be blocked. Better use yoir own.
*
yes. some uses narrowband amplifiers and mixers so the digital frequency got chopped

malaysia is the second highest lightning risk country in the world

a better choice would be astro's free version i think.
the digital tv is easy to receive but the content is not very broad

i used to spend hundreds of RM on the best antenna/booster for basic terrestrial tv (RTM1/2/TV3). signal reception is extremely poor in rural parts of sarawak. my problem is solved after getting njoi (once off RM2XX only). end up using my existing tv antenna for crystal clear FM radio.

if you old enough, you probably remember receiving singapore channels in kuching. ya those antenna are really long
