QUOTE(JohnLai @ Jul 21 2017, 01:27 AM) Damn, I just read at mytv facebook about Sibu having its transmitter activated at this year end or early next year. Seriously? 6 months just to install one transmitter at Sibu from official launch date? This mean = Miri City = June 2018 Election coming... Will be fully operational just before the election.

QUOTE(truelife @ Jul 21 2017, 10:41 AM) Puchong is quite a distance from the nearest transmitter. Furthermore, you stay in landed house. Most likely you need an outdoor antenna. You may try a buy a cheap indoor antenna from hypermarket or hardware store to test it out first, but I doubt it would work in your house. first ask, do u really need one? if u got astro/hypptv/android, there is no immediate justification to install

QUOTE(izz70 @ Jul 22 2017, 04:13 AM) As same as Astro, those dishes and the equipment does not come cheap and poor people will never afford it. Anyway I think they close eyes on the dishes as they could not (or maybe do not want) afford to spend on infra in Sarawak. not expensive actually. looks big but its just painted steel. rusts away after few years. if not mistaken 200-300 can do one set with fta decoder.
