Sand filter don't filter very good. My parent house had this problem and we change to membrane type. And is bulky.
FYI, Sand need to change every 2 or 3 years. And is not very clean filter. Try take out the sand after 2 years. Is black / greenish and very slippery. Want to have good water, change the gov lah. In some country water can drink direct from tap not here. |

Any dirt trapped inside need to be remove. Back wash won't clean 100%, and sand is not going to filter it good.

Is already on roof so I buy the pump spray, ask the contractor to spray on all the wood on the roof when it was without plaster ceiling. It absorb like sponge because the wood was very dry. Minimal use 3 can, but i brought extra for him to reapply on the thick trust.
Now since before i move in, I do another time on my own. One can for major/thick trust. Think maybe 5 years apply once. Or maybe 3 not sure. If all the wood on the floor just, instruction is soak it. |

What i mean on "Acid Stain" is staining the concrete to difference color.
You need Acid for cleaning, go to hardware shop and buy. |

QUOTE(Skydrop @ Nov 27 2011, 08:24 AM) Kitchen? Why kitchen? Bathroom is usually less ventilated I thought. Kitchen grout can seal with silicon/arcylic too and can find this in any hardware shop? T5 need entire new fixture, you need to buy one set, very slim.Need to pinjam your brain a bit on lighting as I am a complete noob here. http://home.howstuffworks.com/home-improve...escent-lamp.htm Can just buy the t5 and pasang or have to replace the whole thing including fixture base? I see that nowdays shops selling very nice set with decorative cover but not sure if I can buy this and pasang t5 energy saving. Need better or more reliable base (this one no brand)? Or ballast component is most important? Added on November 27, 2011, 3:19 pm QUOTE(kh8668 @ Nov 27 2011, 08:59 AM) Is natural concrete/cement color. Not imprint. Is reaction of acid and cement. Called acid stained. Very popular in US. Got many difference color too.If I gave the budget will do my internal house ground floor too. No tiles cause very boring.
