Where can get it?

It's called "sotong" LED strip, most of the accessories shop have it. Would recommend not to install it, it will burn very fast. tongue.gif

why not change to hella twin tone horn a BMW horn sound and loud
*
Changing to non-OEM will have to cut wire in order to install. An OEM Accord horn shares the same socket with other Honda models so, you can upgrade to a louder horn without having to cut wire.

weird...

i'm actually replying my own post laugh.gif

i'm test-drove a City a couple of hours ago...
pretty good....

as for the waiting time... the SA said it depends on color and version

as for my place here... he said the S version got ready stock for white and black

for the E version, polish metal color have to wait 1 month and can get before raya.. other color will be less than 1 month...

dunno how reliable is their estimation but that what he told me...

kuman
*
S-spec is always faster than E-spec. Not sure how long you will have to wait now. But when I first booked my E-spec 2 years ago, I waited for 2 months, was counting day by day but worth waiting. laugh.gif

is it?  sweat.gif hmmm never knew that...

during my test drive yesterday.. the SA asked me to floored the pedal when we're going on a straight steep hill so that i can feel the Vtec power shifting.. well thats what the SA told me... so i did put the pedal-to-the-metal and heard the engine roar!!!! and he said got 2 layer of shifting when i floored the pedal... i dont know much about this engine jargon (so excuse my not-understanding the whole process) but with 4 passengers in the test car i can really feel the engine roar..... dunno if this is good or bad... i never hear an engine roar as much... even my bro at the back also complaint to me afterwards about the roaring.. biggrin.gif

he also claimed that with the ECO mode we can get 10cent/l FC... hmmm

again excuse my lack of understanding on the engine subject...

kuman
*
VTEC kicks in whenever the engine feels necessary and it is not very noticeable because our car uses i-VTEC. tongue.gif

This is how a VTEC sounds like:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MsK_0YBGhyY

Some people enjoy hearing the engine roaring sound while some people found that it is very annoying.

Is anyone here notice that, City's firewall noise insulation is quite bad compared with Insight's.

any of you bros changed tyres already?
I’m planning to change in few months time to either:

• Michelin PS3
• Michelin XM2
• Yokohama A-Drive

Any recommendation on what spec should I use/shop to visit?
*
I know there are few friends of mine have changed their City's stock tyres to XM2. It's more affordable compared to PS3 according to them. tongue.gif

I got this thing , but I cant install it successful , need help notworthy.gif
*
The LED strips itself are cheap, but the installation fee is expensive. Because they will have to unscrew the headlamps from car, open it with heat gun/oven, fix the LED strips and its wiring, apply windscreen sealant to seal back the headlamp covers with heat gun/oven, then put it back to the car.

I wouldn't recommend to put any LED strips in the headlamps, they confirm won't last long. doh.gif

hi sifu,

I'm seeking advise whether to install a brake pedal lock (LOCKTECH) or gear lock from www.tcat.com.my?

pls advise cause i'm geting my city this week...I don't have extra budget for cornex =(
*
Nowadays most of the people are getting brake pedal lock or steering lock. Gear lock? Remind me of the Wiras. tongue.gif

If you ask most of the forumers here, they will advise you to get a brake pedal lock for sure. smile.gif

If not mistaken Continental is famous on quiet, but it still quite noisy in high speed. Please advise me the brand xxx/xx (sorry dont what is this so called)

Bought my car from a SA from Roda BB @ Jln Imbi. Only got an umbrella and RM200 tint discount for free, so I wouldn't recommend you. tongue.gif

My suggestion is, go visit a few Honda showroom and see what they can offer. laugh.gif

So far this is the best looking DVD/GPS head unit compared with the rest and is quite affordable as well. I'm looking at the non-GPS version, and the optional reverse camera unit.

Any thought? I'm just worried about the sound quality since I think the default HU is quite decent already.
*
Think twice before you changing to this HU, bro. If you are worry about the sound quality it produced, confirm not as good as our stock unit.

Guys....

is it true that the Promotion on Honda Ecotint (Honda Promotion Ecotint) is only valid for Honda City E before the facelift version (previos version).
The offer valid until September 2, 2012; but my SA told me that the offer only valid for the previous model (before facelift)....... although it does states at the bottom of the page "While stock lasts... terms and conditions"

now i wonder if he is telling me truth of just BS'ing me...
agreement signed but the car has not arrived yet... if he is indeed BS'ing me.. thinking of getting the car maybe from another dealership.. biggrin.gif

any idea guys?

kuman

Yes, it was called City Special Edition, limited unit. Came with full Modulo skirting and Ecotint. But the Special Edition has sold out I'm sure, only limited to 500 units that time.

1 set only, mari-mari.

There are some light scratches on the mudguards, hope you don't mind.

But there's one problem, now only I remember. I used the screws to fix my bodykit already. You will need to find the screws your own. laugh.gif

guys.. any1 know where to get touch up paint for this color?
my hood and fender rusting already because of small stone cry.gif

i dont want put sticker on it..
*
You may try Autospa touch up paint where you can find at Giant and selected hardware shops.
http://www.autospa2u.com/products_touchup.html

And refer to the code of colour of paint for your car here:
http://www.autospa2u.com/colour_touchup_honda.html

Instruction on how to touch up the rusted area:

1. Clean the rusted surface(very important) by digging the rust out with a sharp screw driver or something. Rust is like a cancer, it will spread all over the metal if you don't remove it completely.

2. Apply few layers of primer.

3. Apply a thin layer of base coat(colour of paint) with a tooth pick.

3. Apply a thin layer of clear coat.
