Try to check the fuse box for blown fuse, it might caused by a blown cigarette lighter fuse.

Ride Honda City iDsi 2004..

If possible with picture also...
*
It is not a easy thing to do, bro. Each of the bulb is soldered on the board, I guess.

But something happened to my power socket thing, not working already T.T. Might be the new mini car vacuum cleaner i bought today argh. How ah? Does warranty cover it?? If not, around how much to repair it??
*
Check the fuse box under the driver side dashboard for a blown fuse, I guess the cigarette lighter socket blown already.

If the problem really caused by the blown fuse, you can get it replaced at SC at RM10, if not mistaken. smile.gif

Not that fast, bro. Fifth gen City was released end of 2008, facelift released in 2011(Thailand), still have to wait until 2014 for completely new model.

The paint that cipped off...is he able to solved it for me
*
How big is the dent? My hood got hit by UFO last time, the dent was as big as 1 cent coin, paint was chipped too.

Then I went for him to minimize the dent and bought myself a touch up paint to touch up my own.

Take a photo to show us how big the dent is, if it is too deep and serious, paintless dent repair won't help unless you re-spray the whole panel. But bear in mind that our factory painted coats are the best, that's why I insist not to re-spray the hood, don't loss a jungle because of a tree mah. tongue.gif

hmmm....i will try to take the picture after work =(
where can i get the touch up paint....got mine chip off paint here n there...if i touch up and go for polish and wax...will be ok?
*
You may try to get an Autospa touch up paint where can be found at Giant or some selected hardware shops.

Each colour comes with a code, you may get the code before you purchase from the link below:
http://www.autospa2u.com/products_touchup.html

Shake the bottle well before use and use a toothpick to fill the dents with steady hand and allow few hours to let the paint cure. Polishing and washing is okay, the paint won't be gone with normal polish/washing. Just remember to allow at least one month before you can wax the area as new paint needs time to "breathe".

use tooth pick...how much should i put on the dent? will it be uneven?

Pick up a bit from the paint and fill the dent layer by layer. Fill the dent until it matches the surrounding area.

Hi all, anyone already try AutoFoam here with the new FL City? I'm seriously considering to autofoam my City in the next few weeks, any comments?
*
It's kinda expensive for me, definitely will foam my chassis with AutoFoam if I've got extra money to spend. Good stuff there. brows.gif

You may get an empty soft drink can and on the can first. Simply make a dent with screwdriver on it and fill the dent with paint. tongue.gif

Hi guys,

Both side of my lower arm behind the disc brakes are rusty and my car just went in for 10k service.

Please advice!

That's normal for City, know it since first day I collected my car. sad.gif

Guess you can request SC to spray it for you.

Hi there. I just paid the booking fee for Honda city. But after reading so many negative comments, I wonder if it is worth getting this car?
*
What negative comments? Give me a list of car and I'll list all the negative sides.

Trust me, every cars have their own problem. No car is perfect.

Here are the reasons you should get this car.

1. Electronic Stability Control (E-spec 2012 only, active safety) - saves your life/car before an accident happens, and no other B segment cars have it except Fiesta? wink.gif
2. Paddle shifters - makes your automatic car more fun to drive wub.gif
3. Solid disc rear braking system (active safety) - other competitors? uses drum for rear. 6 airbags also no use (passive safety). doh.gif
4. 5 speed AT - other competitors? 4 speed AT (except Polo sedan and Fiesta, both with 6 speed AT) icon_rolleyes.gif
5. Good quality stock head unit and speakers - everyone asked me did I changed my speakers but actually I didn't.

I thought so too... until I saw a tread somewhere on http://forum.autoworld.com.my/ where one fella said Honda claim his gear box rosak coz use new rim/bigger tyre. Maybe Honda just LS dowan to entertain his gear box problem coz he claim warranty.
*
Honda got right to reject your claims if you've changed to bigger rims (or even smaller rims). All these actually void the warranty for absorber, suspension, etc.

But not sure about gearbox.
