I have been having this issue for the past 3 weeks, there is a whirring sound from the left side fo the car, front i assume ...
First suspected the tires ... but i think its the bearing ... after reading this (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20080814160102AAiAO4E) Anyone knows whats the warranty like for bearing on the wheels? And whats the warranty period on the batt? Anyone changed the bearing before? My car is 1.5 years old ... |

Just did my 40k(but mileage 39k+) service yesterday 700+ and forgot to tell the sa to not change my air filter as i wanted to change to k&n ... damn now am stuck for another 20k on it ...
In regards to the humming sound which i had, which i thought was bearing issue, they checked and said its a tire issue ... Also complained bout cranking issue, am trying to get my batt changed before reaching 40k km ... but they checked said its ok and added an Earth grounding wire instead ... friend who went to the USJ sc was advised instead to change it ... he didnt even complained as he went for the 40k service ... am gonna return in 2 weeks time and let them know my cranking issue still there so they might change my batt .. hahaha |
