hi i got a question about the home plug.
like most of you all, im placing my modem and router in the living hall while i wanted to watch hypptv in my upstair room. so i amlooking for aztech homeplug to use it. my question is:

1. will the home plug work if i plug it on the extension plug?
2. does the 3 phase electrical system which is common is most household now will cause a problem? or must i conenct them within the same phase of electrical system?

please enlighten me!

you can split hpptv in case you have more than one STB as long the source port is VLAN ID 600.

Example DIR-615 port 4 <---> 4 port switch <----> STB 1 and STB 2.you can watch simultaneously.but if you subscribed for premium channels, only your default STB can watch that channels.
*
in that case i assume the 4-port switch will not be able to share internet connection?
