yes it has wifi feature. But not for TV streaming... it is only for Software Update and internet browsing.

I'm using Aztech 500mbps Homeplugs for my HyppTV and they work very well. Basically just plug n play. No probs for 4yrs plus. My house is single phase electricity.

Also tried Homeplugs at my uncle's house which is 3-phase. It didn't work there. The Homeplugs connected but throughput was too slow. I guess the socket were on different phases.

For his house, we're now testing a couple of Mikrotik routers configured as a wifi bridge. Just did it today and it's working but will need to test it for a bit for reliability. The STB is on a different floor about 40-50ft away from the router. It's a much more expensive solution than Homeplugs.

Hi all. I need advice on how to configure wireless connection for my HpyyTV IPTV. On my STB, I can turn on wifi but it can only surf the net and play store. IPTV will not work. Can anyone advice me on how to configure it to be able to stream wirelessly? My router model is RG-DLINK-WBR2300 from TM and the STB is the latest white one.
My current setup is as below:
Modem and router is upstairs where as STB is downstairs. So I have to pull a very long ethernet cable from the red color LAN port on the TM router to STB. I do not wish to use any Homeplugs.
Any advice on how to configure it is much appreciated.

If the configurations has been discuss, kindly point me to the site as i can't seem to find it.

Thank you.

I am also using the DLink DIR850 router.
Maybe I am on Unifi Lite, my wifi speed is same as the LAN port speed.
