Its about time Gundam is piloted by experienced pilot, not some babysitted kid. It reminds me of Zone of Enders Dolores whereby the pilot is a married ol' man with his 2 adult son and daughter.

in ZoE2, it was piloted by an ace pilot which is way better than the kid in ZoE1...

watched a few gundam. below are my comments

G Gundam : kungfu fighting gundam good for laugh. WINDMILL GUNDAM FTW!!!
Gundam W : as usual, main character is strong as **** but refuse to fight until he is forced to
Gundam X : rely on Gundam X and tifa power too much
Gundam SEED : same as W
Gundam SEED Destiny : same as W. and wtf, the guy who destroy Kira gundam got pwned so easily in the end? asuran/kira just kick him away during their fight
Gundam 00 : main pilot relies on his gundam power too much

let me correct you
G: didnt really matter, just enjoy the gundam fights.
W: 4 Gundams from different organisations fight to stop the source of war with overwhelming MS
X: they did rely Tiffa's power at start but not after half later of the story. and also if u notice Gundam X/DX rarely use its sattelite cannon.
SEED: bishie gundam pilots.
SEED D: rubbish story but it did end well.
00: W ver.2

W : Endless Waltz is nice. too bad there's too little action for the Gundam Wing (Angel version). and Sand Rock got his own "MS army" as well. albeit quite small. and 1 more thing i hate about this series is the action is repetitive, esp when vs non-boss enemies
00 : dun think its W ver 2. W pilot, eg Heero can use any gundam skillfully. in fact one of the thing i like about W is that the gundam pilot never rely on their gundam too much. during infiltration mission, they will not bring their gundam with them. when they need to fight, they will steal any MS available there. 00 pilot rely on their gundam too much

because they never have mission that can't use gundam...all mission need use gundam destroy all of their military facility.... only 00 season 2 got a bit action that setsuna destroy automatebot(?) forget the name......

actually in gundam 00, i was on the masked guy side. forgot his name. one of the ace MS pilot iirc. this is because i saw him fight gundam 00 with his MS and setsuna had a hard time dealing with it
