Hello guys! Just got my sportage 2wd mineral silver here in Kota Bharu. Because of the logon problem i miss the offer by ks loh. Damn good offer it was too for the awd version. Well, not my luck though hahaha.
So far the ride is smooth and nvh is top notch. Fuel consumption too early to tell because still in the break in period. But if looking at my brother's Kia forte it would be acceptable enough. The build quality more than offset the fuel issue.
Anyhow, should i get a steering or pedal lock for more security? What brand is recommended?
Thank you!
Thanks for the kind words. Enjoy your new ride. Pedal lock, albeit more expensive is the better choice. But I am not sure if you can find one that is specifically designed for Sportage. The brand is not so important as long as it has the double locking feature. Most commonly known brands in the market are Locktech, Genie & Defender.
The problem with steering lock is that it is not so convenient and always pose the storage issue, as it always take up the leg space of the passengers when not in use.
Another setback is that it can potentially damage the fine leather on your steering wheel, if you are not careful.
