But the battery consumption is still acceptable, just not as good as in 4.3.3. I tested an old android 2.0 tablet last time. battery gone in less than a week with standby on. On usage (with wifi), battery finished after 2 hours of usage I left my iPad for 2 weeks and it just dropped 30% w/ wifi ON 24/7.  |

My wife uses it every night to watch her ITV player and it lasts around 10 hours at least with Wifi On.

Yes, once you do the Shift + Restore, you need to jailbreak it again using Absinthe.
This option is still valid as Apple is still signing the firmware. Once Apple releases 5.1, then you cannot do a Shift + restore so if you need to do it, do it soon. |
