I read using Tinyumbrella to save SHSH only right ?
Can you others ? Any simpler method ? (I'm noob)

actually shsh is saved in cydia server even ur pc burn u still can retrieve it back.. if i am not mistaken.. but u can try download tinyumbrella and klik save shsh.. let see wut firmware will comeout at the bottom box.



actually tinyumbrella is the simplest ever. try download it run the programme and plug ur ipad at normal state and klik save shsh.. tadaa.. there u go.. ur shsh saved in cydia server ignore other button for this one.

TinyUmbrella is the simplest method.

Saurik's server does not automatically save the SHSH. It has had a lot of issues lately and for 5.x, it has not saved mine. I'd rather take the extra step of just saving in myself in GMail/Skydrive etc.

have u try with new version tiny umbrella 5.10.01... it saved my shsh for 5.0 amd 5.0.1 it released on 15/12.

i had never saved any SHSH after 4.3.5. dont think i'll ever want to update to iOS5. am happy at 4.3.3.

wow. after reading some of the info here, i'm glad my ipad2 was 4.3.3 out of the box. was thinking about upgrading, but i think it's not that worth it anymore.

never really look into it aside from jailbreaking. glad i decide to browse into this threaad.

May I know, if everyone save their SHSH to Cydia server, then Cydia server is trying to accumulating all the SHSH files from all over the whole lor ?
Has SHSH files got our unique ID or information about our iPad2 device ? If got, I feel privacy is compromise a bit.

SHSH blob is like finger print for every device. i try to read the SHSH blob lolx i died lolx

Interested to upgrade my iPad to IOS 5 jailbreak while keeping the iPhone clean

My itchy finger which caused me losing the 4.3.3 to iOS 5.0.1 last month, anyway not much regret except sometimes still miss SBSsettings and retinapad.

Now i downgrade from iOS 5 to 4.3.3
i miss Safari tab =( hahaha

i got it in August actually, and it's been jailbroken like 2-3 weeks after. getting it for free= +1luck, getting a 4.3.3 IOS version = another +1luck.

to think that it could've been 4.3.4 version or later .

For tabs in iOS 4.3.3 Safari, you can install "Full Screen Safari" from cydia where you can have tabs, gesture for page refresh and gesture for switching between tabs as well.

you know somewhere in cydia for split keyboard? i miss that 1..

Not that heard of but I personally don't realy like the split keyboard, it makes the keys smaller and harder to type.
