You can only save your iPad 2 SHSH if Apple is still signing on the firmware you installed and at the moment Apple is signing on iOS 5.0.1. Apple no longer signing for iOS 4.3.3 so you are out of luck if you wish to save your SHSH now.

so it looks like there is no jailbreak for 5.0.1 for ipad 1 yet..

The ipad 1 tethered 5.0.1 Jailbreak is out for sometime while an untethered Jailbreak was heard to be on its way but no one knows when.

even if u manage to save the shsh.. then upgrade to 5.0.1 u wont be able to turn back for ipad 2.. they will upgrade ur baseband.. then u will stuck dead like me.. XD

Try already.. only works from Ipad 2 GSM.. u must have 4.3.3 shsh

Then it's recommended to update your iOS 4.3.5 to 5.0.1, there's a lot of UI improvements.

juz want to ask, pod2g said there's 5.0.1 unthethered jb for a4 devices.
he also said feel free to update. so im in ipad2 ios 5, should i update 5.0.1 or stick with 5

Stick with 5.0 (he says it safe to update for A4 devices, not A5). BUT, save the 5.0.1 SHSH via TinyUmbrella so in case you need to update to 5.0.1 after Apple comes out with 5.1, then you can with the saved SHSH.

iPad 2 jb banyak susah.. Only comex knows.. But he won't make anymore jb

You can still save the 5.0.1 SHSH using TinyUmbrella without the need to update to 5.0.1. Google for TinyUmbrella and download the application.

Connect your iPad 2 and press Save SHSH and you're done.

Ive already save my shsh the day i got my ipad2 after i jb'ed it
So should i upgrade to 5.0.1?
Then downgrade back while waiting for the ios5 jb....

iPad2WIFI 5.0.1
iPad2WIFI 5.1b1
btw i need to uncheck 'request SHSH from cydia' to successfully save my SHSH.

I'm newly purchased an iPad2 with version 4.3.5
And I read there is a Jailbreak for version 4.3.5 on the internet.
I just connect to iTunes & ask me want to update to 5.0.1 ?

Someone told me that if I update to version 5.0.1, there is no way to revert back to 4.3.5 to do the JailBreak.
I still don't know this early stage whether I need to JB it or not. I originally don't want to JB it, just use its original.

So, is it worth to JB an iPad2 ?
What's the Main Reason someone will JB an iPad2 ?
Is it for Fun or Hobby experimenting stuff or else ?

Please someone enlighten me.

There is NO JAILBREAK for iPad 2 on 4.3.5. If you hear differently, then you heard wrong.

THERE IS NO NEED to upgrade to 5.0.1 to save the 5.0.1 SHSH. All you need is to download TinyUmbrella and press Save SHSH. Apple is still signing 5.0.1 and 5.1b1 and TinyUmbrella will be able to save the SHSH.

Again, no need to update to 5.0.1 to save the SHSH.
