No jailbreak for ipad2 yet. Unless you're on 4.3.3, then you can use jailbreakme.

ipad2 security is different from other iDevices, so it doesn't have any JB after iOS4.3.3 yet, iOS4.3.3 was the latest so far.

The iPad 2 CAN ONLY BE JAILBROKEN if it is on iOS 4.3.3 . NO OTHER FIRMWARE VERSION for the iPad 2 can be jailbroken. I repeat, NO OTHER FIRMWARE VERSION (4.3.1, 4.3.2, 4.3.4, 4.3.5, 5.0, 5.0.1) CAN BE JAILBROKEN.

Just 1 question...I just bought 2nd hand iPad 1 64Gb and already jailbreak (4.3.3)
but cannot enable multitouch gestures, I already install enable springboard multitouch gestures from
cydia but when want to enable it in setting, there is no icon to enable it, previously I already tried
ipad 1 with 4.3.1 & ipad 2 4.3.3 without any problem
can anyone help me?

hi bro, have u tried to dload MT gesture theme from cydia? after dload go to winterboard, enable gesture according to device(it will state device at winterboard), after respring, go to setting n u will see the option for multigesture there, . good luck

I have a question to ask for the pros here, i bought an ipad with 4.3.3 and have jailbreak it.

Situation: my problem is now that this ipad is in passcode lock and I dont remember the password.so what i need to do is to restore it through itunes

So here the main questions:
- when i restore this ipad, will it be in ios 5.0.1?
- Is there any ways that I can restore back to 4.3.3 and have a jailbreak again?

Check with TinyUmbrella if you have your iPad 2 SHSH for 4.3.3 saved. (Make sure you check the advance tab and request the SHSH from Cydia). If Cydia has your SHSH stored, then you should be able to restore to 4.3.3

I am not sure if you can get TinyUmbrella to work if your iPad is on a passcode lock though but it doesn't hurt to try.

have u tried entering until the max attempt? coz if not mistaken once max attempt, it will ask u to enter ut apple id then can unlock. if im not mistaken la,.
