Japan won the Women World Cup!!! Beat Germany (host), Sweden and US (defending champ) along to road to win the title. Unbelievable!!! The angmors are easily one head taller than the Japs....

Do we have public holiday considering its first Asian WWC?! hehehehehe

Very happy that Ferrero won the Stuttgart title.
: )
Great to see a veteran winning again.
Although not a big tournament but I think it's a super good achievement from someone who just returned to tour after surgeries.

Yahooooo

PJ means paint job'ed... those pro players are using their old rackets which are painted to look like new racket models in the market.

PJs are a long debated thread about ethics already...

Honestly, in fact, most of the seasoned rec players like us should already know that almost all the pro players never use the stock racquets. In fact, even if they did take a stock one, it'll then be sent to Priority 1 for massive lead tape modifications, grip changes, and other modifications that we might not be familiar of (point me out if I'm wrong).

This then becomes an argument that since players DON'T use stock racquets, then they shouldn't promote it? I think not right, then almost ALL pro players will never use it straight from the shelves. Even rec players like myself tweak the racquets a little bit in terms of lead and the grip. So it's never like the stock ones exactly. What more the professionals? I'm sure the stock racquet has been through SO MANY modifications it never is like the stock racquet anymore...

The best is just to use the one's you like. Even if you feel like the professional is endorsing it thus making you like it - makes you like the racquet and therefore play better, why not?

oh ya what happen to the tshirt design also.. hehe.. fidel , any updates?

Added on July 18, 2011, 3:17 pmYa its a known fact.. its all about marketing for the racket manufacturers and the players normally do not wanna change anything in their racket once they've already got so accustomed to them.. everyone has their prefferences..

I m just wondering when will there be a freak comes up to sue to those racket companies for 'cheating' the consumers with PJs.... Ain't d yankees very good at suing big cooperates?!

Customization is fine, but lets say u use a AeroDrive painted like APD GT then is totally screwedddd..........

Kev the final design is the wet transparent T. It's equivalent to not wearing top.
; )
