All the careful people and their waiting game. Just say la you waiting for more games to come out before getting, I'd accept that. But waiting out for local set under the illusion of warranty? Hilarious!

ADDENDUM: If me = rich pipu, I wouldn't have gone out my way to get my Wii U the way I did. I could've just gotten my butler to get one from the sellers who were asking RM2.5k-4k for a parallel import Wii U at that time. Logic busted.

what is so wrong waiting for a local set? who are you to judge waiting for warranty is just an illusion
people buying local set for many reason not just because of warranty but having a warranty in mind is better than not having one
if rosak can send locally. if buy US set rosak burn then need fork out another 1.5k so what's wrong for being careful ?
U think everyone is like you got money can fly america go buy and then if got problem can fly again for repairs?

fyi i dont even know abt that adapter problem until you mention it. in fact WARRANTY wasn't in my mind when I ask about local set

Nobody said it was wrong. Those who think logically would've think that the disparity between waiting for local set with regards to price is only applicable when local set price is significantly cheaper, warranting the wait. If the local set now priced at RM1450 and released let say February 2013, while the US set is now already at RM1450 without any wait whatsoever, well.......I leave it to you to do the foregone conclusion.

I know, coz I've dealt with them all this while, and not long after, folks have been forwarding their Wiis last time to stores who do repairs like this, as well as those who are cheap enough not wanting to buy original games and ask these game shops to modify their Wiis to play pirated discs. In the end, that "local warranty" advantage when it comes to locally purchased unit, gone also. So much for that, eh?

RM1450 for Black Premium Wii U! No kidding!

dont really know what is your problem flaming me just for asking one simple question
but here's my reason why i waited for local set

1. when ps3 came out they were selling US set as well, and when local set came in those US set price goes lower. last i check ps3 local set is 1.1k while SG set is 899 , that was back in november last year when and i pick SG set because the price is cheaper. I never said im going to get local MY set didn't i ? Again it's you who assume so.


Well then all the more reason to wait for warranty set wouldn't it ?

2. why warranty is important ? because some people dont live in KL JB or Penang. Some live in kampung places where game shop doesn't exist and the only thing existed is buying through online. Now forking 1.5k to buy something without a warranty and to received it in not working condition would be stupid no ? of course not all comes in DOA but some waited till 1month to 6 month before it broke. In my case buying online, i often found the stuff i bought broke DOA or a week after.

of course you don't know that coz you assume everyone can buy COD. and of course you dont know that coz you assume everyone is like you free to travel anytime anywhere. and of course you don't expect that coz you assume everyone waits for local set so that they can play pirated? wthell. what kind of paranoid person are you?
