acer 4736G..
using for one and a half years..

Did some cleaning already?

have sent this laptop to acer 2 weeks ago..
my fan got sound...
now the problem has been sattle...

i thought they have clean my laptop also or im wrong?

its got sound like it not stable..

but already settle after i sent to acer back because my laptop still have warranty..

they sure got clean if no problem then sent back to u lol if can't solve change the heat-sink or if still can't then no choice liau.. refund!

sometime i feel like to sell my laptop and buy a pc because of the heat tempt ..

And the equivalent spec of that "best desktop" for mobile gonna cost u 2.5x moar at least.

I can't brain this. You mean you build your own desktop and the build quality is lousy? That only mean one thing to me...

RM999 can get you a netbook. Similarly, RM999 can get you a complete set of desktop

i think you prefer mobile computing. i i didnt feel like my both notebook can use for 2 hours ++ at mamak stall with 6 cells battery.

5 years ago im so determined that im going to go desktop forever and am never convinced that laptop would do the job as well a desktop will. But now after 5 years, i think that the constant cleaning of my desktop is making my cleaning routine very tiring and troublesome (needed to unplug every cable not within the CPU, then clean every part, then reconnect). So now when im going to change my current desktop (bought last time back in 2007 with Intel Core 2 Duo), im definitely going for a desktop replacement notebook for pure simplicity.

I feel you bro, it sure is very troublesome to have to clean all the dusts... especially at the back of the casing
I like laptops (even desktop replacements) in a sense that there's only 1 wire hehe, won't tangle up that easily hehe.... but that if you go for laptop which are more portable, you'll need to sacrifice abit of performance and quite a large sum of money
Personally I also prefer having a laptop, they seem to blend better in a nicely designed room

=,= my desktop never clean, yes many dust inside,,even my hair also inside. but dont have overheat issue as long i using a 12" fan blow into the casing.
i feel like dekstop no need to take care,just get a big fan. but my 2 notebook always very sayang it,, worry it will get fever and sent it to ward.
