for the mere 5x TP or 2.5% rebate
*
Oh yea, if like that do it during weekend... hmm.gif

QUOTE(tifosi @ Aug 17 2011, 11:32 PM)
Just a word of caution, even with the 5X treat points, you are paying USD with AMEX which will have a higher than Visa/Master exchange rate.
*
Erm, I think I'm aware about the higher exchange rate, but is it very huge difference?
If the 2.5% rebate can't cover back, I better use my normal VISA/MasterCard. laugh.gif

I think it is not much different if you use it on a weekday. Furthermore, you are paying cash for points which is not worth I guess. But if you use it on a weekend then is definitely a bonus.

QUOTE(tifosi @ Aug 17 2011, 11:54 PM)
So far, all my Paypal I bought with Amex has the same transaction date as to the day I purchase it. But to be safe, I always buy it on a Saturday night tongue.gif
*
Thanks for the tips! Yes, not worth to pay cash to exchange for points. I will use it on this Saturday's night.
Isn't foreign currency only 2.5% weekend rebate?

Checked my online statement through M2U this afternoon and noticed I already have the PayPal code. Verified my card right after that. biggrin.gif

Now can't wait to weekend to buy my account. rclxms.gif

Guys, for those that linked their AmEx with their PayPal, please help to enlighten me as I'm still new to this whole PayPal world.

So I managed to get my card verified and paid for the Flickr Pro account just now, it went successful and I finally managed to extend my Pro account with no issues. rclxms.gif

Then I checked back my transaction details via PayPal and noticed this particular transaction is still stated as "pending", is this normal? I'm just afraid PayPal decides to retract the payment. laugh.gif

I see, thanks for the information.
How long does this usually take?
I hope the posting and transaction date can be captured correctly, so I'll get the weekend cash back. biggrin.gif

I can safely say that my case with Maybank for the Flickr Pro account is closed. AmEx fellows asked me to monitor my statement on M2U until last weekend, if I'm being charged, it should then appear on the online statement.

I last checked about 5 minutes ago, it is not appearing there. So, Flickr Pro has already reversed back everything. rclxms.gif

Phew. What a relief!

Yes, after registered it takes about 2-3 days to get the code appeared on your M2U, then you can verify your account.
I have verified mine. smile.gif

Has anyone bought laptop from Dell online store on weekend and managed to get rebate?
*
Yes and no.
Yes, I bought a laptop from DELL 3 months ago.
No, all transactions will be processed only on weekdays, so technically those transactions will not be captured as weekend's purchase...
