actually i mean the alignment between the tablet and the dock, on the left hand side there is a 1mm gap difference on mine. what i'm trying to say is that lets say you overlap two books together,, on the left hand side it is not aligned 100%, but rather there is a minor gap difference. is everyone else's the same?

personally, sell ipad2. you can fetch a hefty $ for it. my bro-in-law told me that he knows a few guys who are still queuing up at apple stores to buy ipad and then sell it back to others -- making rm500-rm1k in the process.

selling tab7 or Tf101... you end up losing money. resale value, sadly, won't be higher.

Dolphin crash on me occasionally when I am in Android Market or some other random sites.  I don't use the default browser much but when I do, I did not experience any crash.

i'm also wondering the same thing, but it is strange that you saw both 100%, if both are 100% it should not use any power at all even though it is docked unless your tablet is on. but since your tablet is not on, it doesnt make sense to see a loss of 25% in power unless the battery widget is not refreshing properly and the figure that you saw was not accurate.

im eager to learn this tablet things as my exposure to this segment is very limited. I wanna buy one, but still not deciding what tablet shd i buy. read from few sources that Galaxy tab 10.1 in coming, but not sure the price.

What is your unit problem bro until need to send back for warranty?

Do u gentlely push the tab into the dock? It may need a little bit more force in order to let it locked, if this still no solved then should send it for warranty.

the story is, my friend's new TF, suddenly the power button stuck..cannot press. he sent to Asus Service Center. SC ppl said cannot repair coz no spareparts, so he write a memo to Evernew so my friend need to request replacement unit from Evernew. Then Evernew said no stock have to wait one week, called again, they said end of June, called again they said early July. 

In the mean time try to ask help from Asus itself, they said can't do anything coz it is distributor's responsibility. Got one time Evernew received new stock, but they won't give replacement to my friend coz they said my friend's unit is from different distributor. So u can imagine how frustrated he is. ding dong ding dong.. almost 1 month already, then I asked my friend to report online to Consumer Tribunal and cc to Evernew & Asus. Suddenly got ppl from Asus itself call him and will promise he will get his replacement asap. Someone from Consumer Tribunal also replied asking for more details to help the case.

So, u see.. sometimes have to make noise to get all these ppl working the case.. for god sake, my friend just asking for replacement unit so that he can continue enjoying his TF

optional means not necessary to buy 3g version lar..3g version due out later this year but from what i read is that it will replace the microsd card slot for the sim card, so you will lose microsd functionality with the 3g version (which is lame). if you got an android phone you can just tether the connection. i've done it many times and it works flawlessly.

you can store any type of file on the microsd. for application and games it will go to your 16gb internal storage. Dont worry, its not that easy to use up. at least not yet

For rooting yes officially warranty will be void but when you want to send to warranty you can just unroot. take note that if something goes wrong with the rooting process or you mess up some stuff then try to get warranty you wont be able to claim.
